Khaki, mustard yellow or navy.

I'm not about the mustard colour. Not a fan at all.
Khaki I find is good, navy also goes well. And Stone Chinos, which are similar-ish to the khaki's are also good.

In Jeans, I like Regular Blue (Stonewashed or otherwise), navy blue or black. Ridiculous colour jeans just look tacky.

Any colour other than indigo or (occasionally) black looks ridiculous in jeans.

Same goes with any washes/rips/distressing.

White shoes?

Cmon.

I was thinking something like this:

Is that bad?

Yeah, Indigo goes well, and black looks good (obviously depending on what you wear them with).
But, that goes for all colours. The 'regular' lighter blue looks fine, so long as you are wearing it with the right t-shirt/shirt/jumper or whatever you choose to wear it with.

Anyone know where you can still buy Pervert jeans?
I think they closed all of their retail outlets a fews back. I purchased what it said was an authentic jean online but they turned out to be a cheap-ass knock-off.

levi 541 or 508, thats all you need, sets you back around $100

i used to blow anywhere between 200-400 on designer jeans before i came to my senses

Levis 511, 508 or 501

Or you could try chinos which is way more comfy and looks better
510's are the best.

Yeah, go the 510 Levi's. I live in them. Have two blue pairs, a mustard pair, and some dark green ones. I have some chinos in the colour of redskin lollies (red/pink hybrid) and some mustard cords as well. But I spend too much money on pants in general...

Never buy Cheap Mondays or jeans from like Jeanswest or whatever.

If you get chinos, don't be a bogan and get those ones with the elasticated cuffs. Also steer clear of lame slogans on any t-shirts as well.

Aye, I've heard that Nudie's are pretty good. I've never found a decent fit in DJ's or whatever, and apparently they run a bit small, so I haven't bought them online.

But who starts a thread about jeans at this time of the year?

Yeah, they're definitely on the tight side for sure: great if you like that. They're really comfortable though as well for tighter jeans.

Nah, I mean like a 30x32 is in fact like a 28x31, you know?

Ah, gotcha, yeah you might be right on that. Over here they have a lot more of them I guess because they are a Swedish brand so i have always been able to find a good fit regardless.

I have a hard time seeing these working.

Dark green is easy.

Red is easy as well. I wear my black or navy Janoskis with them and a navy or black cagoule with a grey/white/black underneath. Them being tight helps as well.

Being narrow minded doesn't make your fashion critique cool.

What's so bad about Cheap Monday's?

I have two pairs of them and they have lasted me ages.

Nudies are alright but they're pretty common nowadays (lots of fakes out there from ebay too) and the quality has gone down since they shifted production from Italy to Turkey. I have a shitload of pairs nudies and find that they fit true to size but shrink at least a full size when you wash them.

For similar (if not cheaper) price I would definitely get APC or N&F over Nudies. If you're on a budget I'd look at the unbranded jeans a poster mentioned a few posts back, awesome stiff denim and really cheap if you get them from UO when they're doing free postage.

Shorts are for the beach and the gym.

Just cheap. The zip constantly stay down and they rip quite a bit. For like $90, there's a gulf in quality between a $130 pair of Levi's.

And for anyone looking for Levi's, go online. They retail for like $50 in America. Plus the 510s there are a lot skinnier, which I prefer.
