Which player has had the better season?

I went White obviously, as you can see by the thread in Bay 13, all melbourne fans think white has been better, all tiger fans think simmonds has been better this year. I think that if either of them take the clear points tomorrow night then they will be the AA ruckman, as both of these guys beat Lade

Simmonds has been awesome this year. Picks up heaps of the ball and is so dangerous when he pushes into the forward 50. While White is also a great all round user of the ball, Simmonds has benefitted from Knobel's combination of injuries and demotion in the pecking order in 2006. Actually, I wouldn't even have considered White to be in contention for AA in comparison to Lade and Simmonds.

White goes about his business quietly and doesn't need his coach to overrate him for people to realise how handy a player he is. People are only taking an interest in Simmonds because he's stepped up in the absense of Knobel and is much improved from previous years.
White gets more hitouts and more of the ball in much less gametime than Simmonds. White gets less game time in an attempt to keep his body fresh for September, look for the return on this as the season draws to a close.

Both are having good years and both would be in contention for AA, there is not much seperating them at this stage IMO.

white easily...there was a comparison of their seasons in the HS on friday and simmonds has played 300 more minutes than white, white has more hit outs and posessions than simmonds and simmonds has 5 more goals than white i think
