It’s spelt BologneseI'd love to take the credit, but I was a follower and not a leader. However, I do think the Callum Brown thread has potential, as a lot of nice foods are brown - spaghetti bolognaise, chocolate, caramelised onions - I might see what I can do there.
Its getting confusing as there seems to be a bit of crossover, but the mechanics of English thread is the other training thread. It’s spelt Bolognese
My aim this year is to poach you over to my thread. I don't get Jen's journo scoops, but together we could turn away from travel and food discussions and begin a serious examination of gentlemen's style including sure-fire, panty dropper colognes. Or are you loyal?

But bolognese is an Italian word isn’t it?Its getting confusing as there seems to be a bit of crossover, but the mechanics of English thread is the other training thread.
Week 1: Session 2.
I have to admit, it was a bit weird this morning. There was only a couple of us there watching, pretty dead compared to most training sessions. Not sure if its because people most like just going to the main sessions, where this was was pretty light.
Sun was shining pretty quickly that I eventually moved over to the shade (not a lot of it) near the glasshouse doors, even though I was wearing sunscreen.
The boys started coming out about 9:45. Starting with Anton Tohil, then to my surprise here comes out Taylor Adams and Jeremy Howe. The senior players slowly making appearances as we head toward their official start date.
Players that were in attendance:
Tohil
Keane
Pendles
Adams
Howe
Maynard
Crisp
Roughy
Stevo
Cox
Cameron (just did a running session and then went inside)
Lynch
Dunn
Brown x 2
Phillips
Kelly
Murphy
Wills
Appleby
Mihochek
Quaynor
Atu
Sier
Lots of players alternated with running sessions done in pairs. While the rest of the group was split in two, and played a bit of NFL, then followed by some stoppage drills.
When Roughy came out with long (looked quarter length, or just rolled the sleeves up) training top, Cloke turns to him and says "Really, Roughy?" and he replies "Yeah, it's sun smart.'
Cloke worked with a few rucks in Anton and Roughy at tap out at the centre square. Alongside another coach.
I also noticed that Ash Braz was out helping in a coaches' top (They are now sky blue, what colour they were last season I don't recall).
There was also another girl in a coach's uniform, I don't recall who she is, but she was introducing herself to some staff, so whether she is an intern or not, I'm not sure.
Maynard looked like he was going to run off the ground, threw his cap to his ground and started sprinting around the track. He didn't stop until he was sweating at least 15-20 mins later. Kept running and running around the ground.
They were out there training until 11:30. A good amount for a light session. Friday should be a main session.
Yeah no Daicos, Beams, Mayne, Langon, Broomhead. They were all there in some capacity on Monday. Lets see on Friday who is in the group and next monday. Still a week and a half til the full group is back. Are there many names we can add to that list who trained Monday? From a quick glance at this stage I can only add Daicos and Beams. It’d be nice to get a gauge on training numbers even at this early stage with JDG, Moore, Elliott, WHE and Langdon the guys I’m most keen to see out there on day 1 for the full group.
Anything around 35 would be a good outcome. As we stand I can pretty easily get to that figure pending a mystery ailment or two with Cox and Langdon the only two I have major Q’s over.
Fair point. That simplifies things. Gelato/gelati triggered this discussion. So I think we can all agree that Apples thread is for discussion of English language issues, whereas Jen's thread is for discussion of Italian language issues. But bolognese is an Italian word isn’t it?
Any sign of Wilson ?Yeah no Daicos, Beams, Mayne, Langon, Broomhead. They were all there in some capacity on Monday. Lets see on Friday who is in the group and next monday. Still a week and a half til the full group is back.
Now you have angered Otto.Is now a bad time to inform the thread that I also don’t rate Vegemite?
Can I please apologise to this thread for correcting the use of word gelatis to gelati and for suggesting the poster calls spaghetti Bolognese noodles with tomato sauce. If I had just shut up, this thread would be 3 pages shorter.
Sorry to all.
Ooops.. is that a jar of the good ol' vegemite in the fridge re. Might change it up a bit and have a shit load of jalepenos on toast.. cause I'm just bored and that re.

That’s some seriously over protective vegemite ownership. Free your vegemite from its icy prison. Its 95% salt and would survive a nuclear holocaust. Let it be a part of your daily life, beside the toaster where it belongs.Ooops.. is that a jar of the good ol' vegemite in the fridge re.
