Good reports on Keane, but may I ask what type of backman people see him as... at 192cm, is he a potential Howe replacement, or could he free up Darcy to move forward, or be a stopper and hold down FB?

This obsession people have to move Darcy forward baffles me lol It's not happening.

No problem at all. Interstate fans don't have the luxury that I do, so I'm more than open to sharing. I lived in Adelaide for 7 years, so I totally understand.Love you work Jen, thanks for all you post on here.
Being from Qld, don’t see, or very little of the training they do
Pretty sure Keane is 194cm.Good reports on Keane, but may I ask what type of backman people see him as... at 192cm, is he a potential Howe replacement, or could he free up Darcy to move forward, or be a stopper and hold down FB?

Keane is 194cm, 92kg. I think he projects as a true key defender with scope for full back and centre half back.
So he could be played at CHB.Fingers crossed, he has that Irish head first no regard for what’s in front of him.

He walked past me last Friday while I was waiting for my son outside the Margaret Court Arena and he was bigger than I thought he was. Impressive build. So he could be played at CHB.
Well if he's a key position player, it would mean that Moore's bargaining position is reduced. Jordy has nobody pushing for his place in comparison. He walked past me last Friday while I was waiting for my son outside the Margaret Court Arena and he was bigger than I thought he was. Moore’s bargaining position is subject to the market.Well if he's a key position player, it would mean that Moore's bargaining position is reduced. Jordy has nobody pushing for his place in comparison.
At the start of the year when Keane was finding his feet he was more your typical lock down defender. But by half way through the season he learnt a lot and was quite attacking, zoning off and creating. I think that was the most impressive thing for me, in such a short time he learnt pretty quickly what it takes to be a good defender in having that balance of attack/defend.Good reports on Keane, but may I ask what type of backman people see him as... at 192cm, is he a potential Howe replacement, or could he free up Darcy to move forward, or be a stopper and hold down FB?
I think you’re probably drawing a long bow if you think Moore’s bargaining position is reduced by a Cat B rookie who’s yet to play a senior game...Well if he's a key position player, it would mean that Moore's bargaining position is reduced. Jordy has nobody pushing for his place in comparison.
Depends how well he develops. Kelly is also in the reckoning, whereas Jordy as nobody competing with him.I think you’re probably drawing a long bow if you think Moore’s bargaining position is reduced by a Cat B rookie who’s yet to play a senior game...
Probably in line for Roughead spot, than Moore’s, doubt it would have any bearing on Moore’s bargaining positionWell if he's a key position player, it would mean that Moore's bargaining position is reduced. Jordy has nobody pushing for his place in comparison.
Roughead finished top 10 in the Copeland, doubt he will be in jeopardy.Probably in line for Roughead spot, than Moore’s, doubt it would have any bearing on Moore’s bargaining position
No he is not, just that rough can be move forward.Roughead finished top 10 in the Copeland, doubt he will be in jeopardy.

Moore is a talent, that the club would want to keep.
Obviously you don’t think so
He won't develop enough in 12 months to cause anything significant with regards to Moore's contractDepends how well he develops. Kelly is also in the reckoning, whereas Jordy as nobody competing with him.
May be suitable, but probably not, the class he has and what he has shown this season, makes him equal, if not more important than Degoey.I do think so, because he's important and a good reason to go and watch us play, but if the cap is tight, Brodes and Jordy will be preferred ahead of him. He may be the most likely to ask for too much, and blokes like Kelly and Keane may be suitable replacements.
Yes I agree with that, but Jordy is also important up forward so he has a few strings to his bow.May be suitable, but probably not, the class he has and what he has shown this season, makes him equal, if not more important than Degoey.
With Degoey leg problems who knows if he can play a full season in the midfield
I think you are forgetting that Darcy can play ruck, forward, which are very handy indeedYes I agree with that, but Jordy is also important up forward so he has a few strings to his bow.
