I read the last part as if he was implying that there was no space for Hogan in their forward line
the only scenario i can see Hogan going to freo, is that if Hogan really really wants to leave and go home (which i respect, but i think is unlikely) we would ask for Fyfe (very unlikely considering i reckon he will never leave WA) and then a swap of picks like our 3rd rounder for your 2nd... how do you all feel about that?

I can't see him coming home. Melbourne will pay overs to keep him. Just as freo will accomodation fyfe.

Lot's of hypotheticals in this. Firstly, if Hogan demands out and back to WA and at the end of 2017 you're in no real position of power. We'd still try to offer equitable trade and somewhere along the lines of a couple of firsts would likely see it done (all depends on where we finish next year).
IF Fyfe comes out and says he wishes to openly explore free agency, then yes a trade for a Hogan becomes possible, BUT in no way is it only a player exchange. We'd be demanding your first which if you improve next year would be a pick around 10-14, which would still probably not be enough BUT if Fyfe wants out we'd be hard pressed to find a better offer and to a club Fyfe sees a future at.
So much unknown, but we won't be putting Fyfe up for trade at the end of next year unless we spiral out of control and the rumours prove fact. He is naturally going to be our captain after Mundy, although I wouldn't be against Walters being thrown into the mix here and for Fremantle to become a destination club for young aboriginal players.
Genuine question and excuse my ignorance, but how many aboriginal captain's of a club has there been? who was the latest? McLeod? was he even captain? Wanganeen??

Fyfe brownlow- hogan potential , plus your next year 2017 first rd and the 2018 2nd rd . Knowing you will at least made top 8 this two year. Going to freo.

I'm not so sure. A night on the beers and a slip of the tongue. I ran into a guy on the plane who new Jessie's junior coach, who knew the family,and said he was looking to come home. Again, flimsy I know, but believable.

That's like the guy on demonland.com who claims to have inside sources at the club (Has called some stuff very early but also gotten some wrong) saying that Hogan has informed MFC he wishes to stay.
I've heard so many conflicting opinions on his future (Especially from journos both in WA and over here) I won't believe a thing until there is an official announcement one way or the other.
It's all chinese whispers and interpretation too.
