Hmmm. So Hogan to Adelaide then!

Haha. You kind of hope Melbourne fall in a heap early next season and that we rebound strongly with youth. He doesn't sound overly convinced on Melbourne.

If I had to bet money on it, I'd be putting my money on him staying at Melbourne . if team performance is one of his selection criteria then surely there would be some doubt cast over FFC by Jesse after our dismal work this year

We need Melbourne to turn to shit and for us to lift if we're to get him. Hopefully Fyfe and Bennell smash it as we know they can, if a forward line of McCarthy and Tabs works ok, then he might be tempted to join them, knowing it wont be a one man forward line.

Some quality reporting by Flogdorn, as always. Highlights for me included:

- Kim Hagdorn: Hogan revealed on Wednesday he could sign a contract extension before the end of the year and quash all prospects of heading back to his home state as a prime recruit in a Dockers planned revival back into premiership calculations.

followed by:

- Jessie Hogan: "At the no moment there's no real deciding factor at the moment it's just enjoy my footy and watch this (Melbourne) team progress. There will be a time when I want to sign or whatever the case may be and that time could be sooner rather than later. I'm not entirely sure when the time will be but hopefully sometime over the next six months or whenever it happens to come about, I can get it done."

Also included just for the LOLs: Kim Hagdorn - It is understood (read: I completely made up the following) that the West Australian product from talent rich WAFL club Claremont also told Demons chairman Glen Bartlett within the past fortnight that he wants to stay at Melbourne.

Worst reporter in footy by a country mile and there is a lot of competition in the field.

Can everyone please stop posting articles from that hack on the boards?

I took that article seriously there for a minute - I only noticed it was hackdorns AFTER I read it.

Being tricked into reading a hackdorn article from start to finish isn't a pleasant experience. Please don't do it again.

This is a blatant lie and anyone who listened in on Saturday would have heard Karl Langdon tell Dim Crapdorn that he was chatting with Glen Bartlett at the Eagles' 30th anniversary event 2 weeks ago and Barlett told Langdon that Melbourne are not prepared to trade for Jesse Hogan at this stage, unless Jesse told them that he wanted out of the Melbourne Football Club.

So Flogdorn has not even spoken to Glen Bartlett.

I'm still highly skeptical that Hogan's Homecoming™ will happen. One does not simply trade with Melbourne. Its players are guarded by more than just security guards. There is evil there that does not sleep, and the AFL is ever watchful. It is a barren wasteland, riddled with fire and ash and dust, the very air you breathe is a poisonous fume. Not with ten thousand draft picks could Fremantle do this. It is folly.

Correct. Yet Hogan's contract must still be taken there and thrown into the firey crucible from which it was forged. Only then can we exxperience the Return of The King, to lead the steadfast men of the West.

I honestly don't think he will be the Mega forward he has been hyped to become, i think he has hit near his ceiling as a forward.

Im hoping we don't trade our future and premium cap space for him, I think with the timing of Neale's signature is the nail in the coffin on talk at Fremantle recruiting Hogan.

Bye bye hogan.maybe you will play for freo when ross retire 2020.
