Ahhhh! Snuka afraid of what he no understand.

Very interesting. Love the name of the link Palantir. What can one say about the all powerful seeing stones. Are they predicting a bright future for the Lions? To paraphrase Denethor "Do you think that the coaching staff are blind?"
I actually suspect a great future for Jesse.

Hehe, I guess my lame, out of touch references are better when the link actually links to something. 2nd attempt. :o

No no. Not lame at all. Just getting into the spirit. I am now very intersted in Jesse. He is for me the most interesting player "we" have elevated. Damn I am looking forward to his debut. :)

Quoted For Truth, or its TLA QFT, is a catch phrase used on Internet forums and other discussion software used by virtual communities. The quoter quotes the first poster in order to show that the quoter agrees with the poster.

Some may find it hard to believe, but my favourite TLA is currently HJD.

Hot Jam Donuts.

By the way, Jesse Smith, the Kangaroos version is also not playing at the moment. Maybe they will both play soon.

PS Sorry Ashli, I had to bring the donuts up again. It has been nearly a week since I last thought about them. Put it this way, no matter what the Eagles do to us on Sunday, the Donuts will be hot. :thumbsu:

There must be a Jesse Smith in the current draft? Let's go and find him/her.
We need a Jesse Smith on our list. I see the current Jesses are constantly on the injury list or playing in the Magoos. He/she will fit very well at the Lions.

Just clicked on this thread expecting a potential match-up for him on Saturday night...

Chooka1's thread may finally be vindicated.

I will kill myself laughing if this happens. Will be one of the great Brisbane Bigfooty moments for those who have been around a while.

In other news related to this thread... all that whinging about the sauce dispensers came back to haunt us. We lost our free sauce priveleges altogether.

Can the soothsayer Grim, consult his crystal balls and advise if we are to start laughing now?:D

Oooowww shit

I still don't know which Jesse Smith we are talking about........

Is it the one with chicken legs that walked out on North, or is it the one listed at Carlton then went to Wangaratta??

Funny thing is, I was once talking to a co-worker about footy and then BigFooty and this thread. Turns out she is the aunt of the former Carlton Smith. hahahaha small world this.

North one. He would be a good pick at 84. If all the "decent" players are gone by then.:thumbsu:

If all the other clubs baulk at his body, then our club must me supremely confident in our ability to get his body back to 100%. I know we have a good success rate with our rehabilitation program but if other clubs think he's a cripple....the point im trying to make is 'is our medical/rehab program that much better than other clubs?'

Doubt it. There would be little between all the medicos in this day and age. We may have a bit more to throw at him then North had (in the past) but a completely stuffed ankle is a completely stuffed ankle, North medico's are not incompetant, they would have done everything to get him right as he is a gun.

You take a punt. What's the bigger chance of happening: Jesse Smith being fit or pick 84 turning into a gun player?

If the whispers about him failing a medical at Geelong during trade week are true then i'd say pick 84...I know where your coming from though. Just seems his body is wrecked..maybe not as much as we all think. Have faith in our recruiting department i guess

OK, I am with you.

But this thread started about the other one:o

Didn't it:confused:

:D

The fact that Voss never played him last season is a disgrace and should bring outrage at the AGM. No doubt Bowers influence though.

Was set to play either round 12 or 13 from memory.

Just did not happen for some reason:eek:
