i didnt see anything better from anyone else.. but let me have it, white was very average... along with many others.. reid had his 22nd bad quarter of footy in a row... and he's fit now..
lrt, everitt, there no better..

were in strife without goodes and mummy

Everitt had a solid enough day and was probably our most productive forward on a day that our forwards would rather forget. He made good position, got some good ball, missed one he should have got, got another, missed one that bounced on its end on the goal line, set up McGlynn for one (which he missed) and beat two Tigers players to keep the ball in play in the goal square and not one Swans player came to his assistance. Had any other Swan forward bothered to come running in there was a gimme goal. Should have been 3 and 2 assists.

TDL showed enough to earn a recall. White took one good grab. Reid seemed to land hard on his back first mark so may have been sore.

Time for Walsh, Morton or Pyke to get a gig.

All of those three

100% agree.

See! My footy knowledge is getting better bedders, I've started agreeing with you on things!

Can we please give up on white now and look somewhere else for answers. Just doesn't do what he is brought into the team for.

What do u expect when he gets dropped and promoted, dropped and promoted.. He showedsomething against north, but got dropped again... The guy is head****ed imo... in fear of being dropped no doubt.. agree he was shit... but so was most of the team..

Don't think he was good in any of the other games he was in this year. Kicking goals because no one picks him at stoppages isn't what he's there to do. Only one passage of play in 3 games where he showed his strength isn't good enough.

you missed his tap down ruck goal, but u get that with blinkers on.. i agree he was shit yesterday, so drop him again, wont really matter.. were ****ed until we start showing some grit again... hope tdl can come good this time in.. im sure if he misses a tackle that will spell the end for tdl..

i dont know im over the white debate now, he didnt stand up, so thats probably the end.. everitt hasnt stood up, or seaby... running out of options

I was and am all for giving White a crack but as soon as I noticed the Tiges going with one ruck, I thought it shouldnt have been Whites week, they were simply all over us running out of defense.

We have plenty of options, just depends on if they're fit enough in Walsh, Spangher and Pyke. for White's spot.

Everitt didn't stand up, but he still at least showed some desperation at the ball when not spoiling his own team mates.

As I mentioned pre-game, this was it for Jesse. It just has to be it. He has had soooo many opportunities to show something (read: anything) and hasn't seemed to do it. This is something I hate saying because I have been a massive supporter of him for a long time now and see exactly what (I'm guessing) the coaches must see in him to give him chance after chance. Yeah ok, I agree it's not ideal to keep dropping him and moving him around and I along with many others were calling to have cemented in a role last year and left to develop. Instead he got a game here & there in a different role each time. How is that going to help his development?! However, in any event, he hasn't been able to overcome whatever issues it is and been able to perform as we all know he can perform and based on this fact alone he is holding someone elses chance at performing at that level. Like I said, very disheartened and disapointed in the fact he couldn't see what I think is clear as mud. He's running out of time to show what he's got and quite possibly signed away playing 1st class for us again through yet another lower than expected performance. I guess the shining light for him is his potential is massive and valuable given it can be accessed. Further, he was far from the only player who played pathetically the other day. I wouldn't be surprised if Walsh or Pykey got a crack this week but until he's been traded away or delisted then I'll still hold out hope the great white will get another chance and actually take it and prove everyone wrong and begin to perform to the standard we all expect him to be at by now (at the least anyway).

Despite your objection to using the enter key, I completely agree with your post. He's just wasting opportunities that would be better spent on other players now.

Sadly, I think Jesse has spent all his get out of jail free cards now.

Clearly he is never going to regain his early form at the Swans, and a change of scenery is the only way he will ever come close to living up to his early potential.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again we need to look at putting someone into the FF position and playing them out of the square to create a real 2nd option\contest and leave this person to develop there full stop.

Right now I'd have Pyke there as he can take a grab, is bloody big but also agile. This also adds a decent 2nd ruck option (I know, I've said it all before). Surely Walsh is also worth a look there but may not yet be well enoughed versed in the position and Goodes can also spend time there when he gets back but I still think he needs to run through the middle as thats where he does his best work IMO.

So for mine right now it's time for Pyke at FF, Reid at CHF and on a dry day maybe throw in the Irishman as a 3rd genuine tall.

Sadly Jesse, you are the weakest link.

Goodbye.

Agree. White has had his fair share of chances.. however Reid has had more :P

This season, indeed.

BUT, White is 3 years older, hence longer in the system.
Has played in 25 more games to date,
Showed his most promising form a couple of years ago, and most importantly
Seems to have stagnated in his development.

Reid on the other hand is a 20-year old that displayed truckloads last year,
Is getting next to no support up forward at the moment, and
Will benefit in his development as a 2nd year player through continued opprtounity (see Jetta, Lewis)
