Bloody fantastic tonight.

His persistent tackling and pressure were absolutely outstanding tonight.

On top of that, he found plenty of the ball and generally used it really well.

Two top notch performances in a row; Leroy's finally delivering on what he's potentially promised for a while now.

The confidence is clearly rising, and rightfully so.

Do we finally have the A-Grade crumber we've missed since the retirement of Darren Bewick?

21 touches, 3 marks, 5 tackles, 1 goal, 2 behinds, 4 i50s, 3 1%s, 4 goal assists (6 total).

He's arrived - truly believes that he belongs at AFL level. I'm so wrapped for him :thumbsu:

Jetta was fantastic, in my opinion our second best today behind Hille. He dropped off a bit in the second half though.

No surprise TBH. Talent has always been there. Still like him to get hungrier around goals but when a fwd pocket has 3 shots on goal and 6 goal assists he's doing pretty well. His tackling is incredible.

On top of the talent, he's added a workman like approach - a lethal combination.

Needs to be able to take set shots though. Really should have ended with three extra (is it extra? did he kick any?) goals today. The two set shots he missed and the pass to Hille. This he can work on though.

Great to see him up and about and demanding his spot.

Nice to see the Jetta bandwagon back up, I liked him in 08 but his 09 made me think again about him. I think the fact that he's got his pace (an confidence) back is the main reason for that.
Hopefully he can keep it up and be the crumbing forward that we've been wanting. Also, if he does keep it up, he'll be putting a lot of pressure on some other small forwards.

Him and Davey together up forward, and in form they completely revitalise our whole forward line and make it so much tougher for teams to clear the ball. Also i've been seriously impressed with Jetta when he has the ball, just has great vision and decision making. A further positive is that for the first time in his career he is actually getting enough of the ball to make a real difference as well. Plus his tackling has been excellent.

His pressure and his tackling was first rate, and I like that is unselfish with the ball. However, somehow he needs to become more confident with set shots. He never should have passed that ball to Hille. He and Froggy are adding so much to our forward line. There is now great pressure on opposition defenses every time the ball hits the deck in our f50.

He had a great game tonight. He has finally cemented his spot in the team and hopeuflly he can keep up the consistancy.

2 things tonight....confident, creative.

Good to see he is making a decision and sticking with it. May not always be correct but more often than not they have been.

Seems to complete the forward line with Davey now showing a bit as well.

Did I say Atko would play his best game yet? I'm sure I meant Jetta.

It may be the quality of the opposition, but Jetta seemed to have a tonne of composure with every touch of the footy tonight. Confident, quick and never hesitant to find his own ball. Really pleased with your performance Leroy. The forward pressure combo with Froggy will only yield positive results. :thumbsu:

Fantastic to see him starting to shine. Has shown last night with hard work what he's capable of. Needs to make that the benchmark and kick on.

Only Richmond I know but absolutely sensational.

2 crackers from 2, hope he keeps it up.

His pressure is absolutely fantastic, combined with Davey, this is the forward line pressure we need.
So great to see someone front and centre regularly at F50 marking contests for a change.
Great to see someone other than Zaka who can hit someone in the F50.
Great to see his confidence up, playing to his potential, and looking for the first time like he has a future here beyond 2010.

My only criticism is that he looks like he doesn't want to kick a goal. It's great to have unselfish players always looking to give it to someone in a better position to have a shot on goal. But it gets a bit much when he is often passing to someone not necessarily in a better position, when he should just kick the goal himself.

I had wondered after his game last week whether he was going to play a few good games, and then be pushed out of the side when some senior players return. But after following up with his performance this week, I don't care who's coming back, our side needs Jetta and Davey playing as they are, so someone else is gonna have to make away. :thumbsu:

Is it just me or does Ryder seem to play better/enjoy his football more when Jetta is in the side.
Ding Ding!

As legend has it, Ryder made sure they were reunited, insisting at every opportunity that the recruiting staff draft Jetta.

Jetta's performance was the absolute highlight of the game for me. Having him and Davey running around the forwardline creates so much defensive pressure, it creates goals and stops teams starting to attack from the halh back line. The fact that both were offensive threats as well was even more pleasing.

My only critisism is that Leroy needs to take it on himself to kick goals rather than give it off and he needs to get his set shot goal kicking right. He could easily have kicked 5+ goals last night.

I tip my hat at his performance, but I'm just not sure he'll be featuring in 4-5 years time. Hopefully he proves me wrong and we do get an A-grade crumber out of him. Desperately need one too.

Also desperately need to get him in front of the big sticks for some practice at set shots. While the coaches are at they can teach Winderlich how to kick a goal on the run. ****ing lost my shit at Winders last night.
