Got a pile of about 7 puzzles but won’t do them till after hip operation…

This one is very difficult, so many similar coloured pieces.

I did this one earlier this year and got 2 more in the series but have put them away for the moment due to the frustration with this

The image on the front of the box was a cropped version of the final image & the black pieces just seemed to fit anywhere so I ended up forcing them in to simply "finish" it

The image looks quite nice from a couple of steps away and makes more sense than when working on it close up

Now to move onto the Great Barrier Reef

Wow, that took us weeks and endless breaking up wrong piece placement. Well done!

I didn't mind the water bit as there was markings in it which helped a little bit, but the various shades of pink, yellow and off white was ridiculous

I ended up not worrying about colours and just putting it together via shape - once broken up I wont be touching it again

This is what I bought off Amazon - yet to use it though as I haven't worked on any of my larger size puzzles






I do know that some report they don't like felt puzzle boards/tables as you can't slide the pieces around but I'm not sure how often I really slide them anyway

Yeah I’m a slider but I like the idea of a felt board so I can move the puzzle around

That’s probably the same one I was going to get on Amazon one time but decided against it because I feel the tilted boards would hurt my shoulders.

That's be great if I didn't have a clumsy 7yo and an apoplectic 4yo in the house haha. I have to put the one I'm working on at the moment on top of the tallest cupboard in the house, but I'm sure that when I (finally) get close to finishing, I'm going to drop it trying to lift it down.
