This one didn't take me too long to complete once I started, but each step of the way I kept re-sorting to help me work on each part that I broke it down into

Nearing completion of the second half of Six Portals. Will celebrate here when done ;).

Watching a YouTube on Ravensburger, their marketing person made an interesting comment. She said they released different puzzles in different markets, but also in different channels, so that, got example, Amazon get different products from hobby stores or even their own online shop.

I did wonder why you could only get some puzzles overseas or via Amazon, seems that's deliberate. It's worth checking different stores/sites when looking for their puzzles

Every time I look in this thread I feel ashamed I haven’t finished Starry Night.
I hear that it is a hard puzzle to do. I’m on puzzle group on fb and ppl always complain it is giving them grief. Hope it doesn’t give you any!

It’s rolled up in my puzzle mat in the cupboard, no grief at all 😂

I have the same scenario with Blue Poles. It's been there for around 30 years...
How many pieces? I can imagine that one is a nightmare as is the painting!

1000. I think we managed to put together around 100 in six months and gave up. It remains the only puzzle we've ever had that we couldn't finish. Must get it out sometime and see if we can overcome it.

The issue is false fits. It's essentially impossible to be sure that pieces go where you think they do ;).

Have never done a puzzle of this, but have the Lego set and various plates and prints on display.
I've got a few Lego kits at home that I haven't yet taken out of their boxes (no room to display them), but I've been tempted to add this to the collection so that once the puzzles are completed I can display the 3 versions

Yeah this one is a fairly simple build as these things go, but not as frustrating as some of the art sets (cough, Monet, cough). It does make an effective display piece, best viewed at a distance.

I am doing a 1500 of St Peter's basilica and its by far the hardest I have ever attempted.

At the moment I am in Manilla on a charity dental trip but I am feeling somewhat guilty. I should be looking forward to see Mrs DP, my two son's, partners but I want to finish the jigsaw
