And we don't want EF getting back above the Black Ducks eitherKennedy is a power forward they dont need as much fitness as mids do
Maybe to test out how his ankle and body holds up under the rigors of actual physical pressure and to see how well he can compete for the ball, lead etc. No point dragging him to AAMI against port for half a game though for example.I don't see how one week in the WAFL will improve his fitness.
Hopefully North can win this week and/or Sydney next week. Then it means WC just have to win every game and they will make top 4.
How is it gone????? If Hawks or Pies lose one other game other than vs WC and WC win them all they are init's probably better to have north lose, so we hold onto our home elimination final. top four is gone.
Agree with this. We are still a chance. Earlier in the season we would all be backing ourselves to win all 3. Recent form is driving a significant degree of pessimism. Form can be turned around quickly - especially if JK comes back and makes a real impact. Assuming we deal to Port we will be favourites going into the Pies game. Win that and it's one game left. And if we rate ourselves as no chance to beat the Hawks at the G then how the hell are we ever gonna win a premiership? How is it gone????? If Hawks or Pies lose one other game other than vs WC and WC win them all they are in
Also I would much rather make top 4 and have a chance at a flag than finish 5th or 6th win first week then lose 2nd week
The Swans will most likely start favourite to beat the Hawks at home. The fact that we that we are counting on some of the best teams in the comp to loose as well as winning the rest of our games suggests that the top is realistically gone.
And Collingwood will start favourites against us next week. And hawthorn again the week after that. It's mathematically possible. But highly improbable that we make top 4.The Swans will most likely start favourite to beat the Hawks at home.
I agree it's not likely - trying to stay positive though. I would have said we would be favourites against the Pies at home. Assuming we beat Port somewhat convincingly. And Collingwood will start favourites against us next week. And hawthorn again the week after that. It's mathematically possible. But one of the losses will be vs WC if WC win all their games. All they need is either Hawthorn or Pies to slip up in one of their two other games and then it's in the Eagles hands. The fact that we that we are counting on some of the best teams in the comp to loose as well as winning the rest of our games suggests that the top is realistically gone.

Unless we lose to port (in which case, our season is over anyway)- we'll deservedly be favourites against the pies and rightly so (given it's our home game, and given the close result earlier in the year during the 'away' game). Sure our form has been patchy, but in a way, so has the pies' form (their last few wins have been unconvincing...)And Collingwood will start favourites against us next week. And hawthorn again the week after that. It's mathematically possible. But highly improbable that we make top 4.
I'm pretty sure 2009 is the last time in the regular season that we've played them over here, lost by about 20 points iirc. We played them here in the 2011 NAB Cup as well. Collingwood play well on the road so it's going to be a tough task.I really dont see why we wouldnt be favourites v the pies, cant see the boys wanting to lose more than 1 game this year at home...
I think we have every chance and think of the confidence going into finals..
When was the last time the pies played us at subi? 2010?? it may have even been 09?
