Both those guys are walk up starts at pretty much every club in the AFL.

Jenkins ??... kicked 45 goals last year as our third best forward option... your 1st best forward option in DICKson kicked 49... and DICKson today showed little more than what Jenkins did, plus, on top of that his hot headedness once again saw him give away silly free kicks..

So I guess you should really be focusing more of your worries at DICKson... you know... the bloke who plays for your team..

I’d rather Dixon over Jenkins so badly it’s not funny.

Give me someone that competes and who will work his arse off and throw his weight to generate a score.

Hartigan didn’t play well, but let’s not forget it’s JLT, and he was one of our best in the GF.

Think he’s got enough runs on the board to warrant a game round 1

He looks bigger and slower which is my main concern.

Last year ran with Robbie Gray. Today couldn’t even run with a tortoise.

We'd be replacing about 16 players from the GF. Fogarty's one that could come in. Name the other 15?

As for the "attitude of a GF losing side", did you call for the cleanout the week before the GF? Did you back Richmond in to win?

Or do you back the players that won their way through? The "losers" who are rubbish now and need to go?

If Fogarty can run out a real game of AFL football I'd love to see him get a game. What he's shown in half a game of one JLT pre-season nothing game is promising, and it's great he's shown something and has his hand up.

Darren Jarman came to us as a player with a reputation of not performing in finals.....

The vitriol directed at JJ on BF is appalling, and he's been singled out as a scapegoat for the GF loss. It really needs to stop as it's frankly pretty disgraceful.

BTW, played a bit of footy have you? Played in any winning GF's? Achieved anything in sport? Ever represented your country before? Before you have a crack at other people's attitudes have a look in the mirror.

I’ve watched Gibson play for many years at North, and he served up exactly what he’s been serving up all those years..... really average football.

Once has it in spades and is a once in a generation player, the other only resembles something of a footballer when he’s standing unmarked in the goal square.

Yep...I've played plenty of football thanks. And I've seen more heart from the runners than what Jenkins puts on display. But hey ...you just keep pumping up his tyres...he's a true contested champion of the game.
Can't you see how embarrassing it is when a 18 YO shows more intent and kicks 3 ??? ....who would you play.

Did you actually read the post? Eddie Betts is a champion player.

He had a shocking grand final and has done nothing since.

That's the point. It wasn't a comparison of their ability.

You know that's a shallow view . Kicking from a contest vs being an outside player is chalk and cheese

Actually added to this is what happens from your best kicks . Atkins, Smith etc may turn it over more but more happens from their good kicks . More net gain by the straight with ball in hand

So PA won a JLT scratch match, BFD (last word, DEAL). After 8.4 to 4.2 Pyke decided he'd seen/done enough and put the Crows into Slowdown. You can bet he's not concerned about a starting mid group of MCrouch, Sloane and Gibbs.

It was a JLT game where we trialed some different midfield rotations, played in 37 degree weather at a ground that you guys train on every day of the week.

Great, so with them you should easily account for us & and every other club in the season proper. Seeing as you're so confident, you would have no problem taking me up on a bet on final ladder positions for 2018?

The clams weren’t that bad.. but you’re probably right... the other bands I mentioned were better.. the clowns of decadence always put on a great show in the early 90’s, raisin toast were always great.. the hard ons were awesome live and I saw them a couple of times down the bay in those days and there was band from vicco called “the fat thing” if I recall that played at lennies a couple of times that put on a good show..

Then most Saturday nights at lennies they had the Zep Boys... bit of a rough biker crowd up the back those nights but still they were a bloody great led zeppelin cover band.

Clowns were trash, Lennies was a hole. The only time it was worth the pain of putting up with the regulars down there was when Even Flow were playing.
