It's interesting that 4 young players from 2012 are going to play. If Daniher was fit I would expect he would play. There haven't been any reports of injury that I can find.
there are "reports" he pullled up sore. There is also conjecture he will be involved in the more "relevant" simulate match training with the other senior players.

For mine, they are far more realistic scenarios than him being part of the program.

Albert Ross said it best. Daniher was only at EFC part time. He was involved full time with his junior club. EFC were extremely protective of their IP around the program, and some people obviously believe they were conducting a clandestine doping program.

Given all that, it is entirely ridiculous to think they would risk using Daniher like a pin-cushion and be certain that he wouldn't spill the beans to someone outside the club.

When you look at it like that, the whole debate becomes more than a little ridiculous. Only extremely "partisan" contributors to this debate would think it's in any way possible, frankly

Who knows. I can't fathom how you ask a guy who wasn't in the program whether he was involved in the program and what he knew of it, and it takes over 4 hours to get answers. Maybe that's just me, but something smells.

Do I trust a damn thing that comes out of Essendon and the AFL? No.

Just look at the orchestrated move to get Sheedy back, and the paying off of GWS. AFL hands all over it.
Were you part of the programme?

No

Do you know anything about the programme?

No.

15 words. That's 18 minutes per word for the interview to go 4.5 hours.

see my post above. It's really absurd to consider that he would be. Not even to mention that the kind of substances would do **** all for a skinny kid.

4 hour interview? I think you're overstating it. That's just a morning session. Once you take out all the coffees and smalltalk and procedural matters it's easy to see how 4 hours could go by if they are trying to see if he's heard anything suspicious from other players for example, or getting other players testimony cross-checked.

The Sheedy thing? Come on. What's that got to do with Daniher being on the project. You and I both know it's a sop to the die-hards. It's not surprising in the least.

gee, you sure know a lot about investigations. They should subcontract you. You'd crack the case with such a direct powerful line of investigation

Wouldn't be surprised if he did get one. Neil Young said during the Middleton trial that if the SC notices were not withdrawn and the investigation continued, Essendon's survival could be in danger, or words to that effect. Daniher getting an IN would fit some of the puzzle together. Imagine the ramifications if it were found that he did indeed get a notice and was found guilty?

Just like Essendon going to court because they thought the process was unfair to them?

Only extremely "partisan" contributors to this debate would think it's in any way possible, frankly
Just like Essendon running a doping program?

It's really absurd to consider that he would be.
Absurd to an Essendon supporter with their head in the sand, quite.

Young also said: And I'm getting old, keeps me searching for a heart of gold.

Don't know if anyone else saw Fox Sports News last night, but they had cameras at Essendon training yesterday.

Players who are playing in the NAB challenge game wore the red and black sash jumpers whilst other players, i.e. those players on the 2012 list, wore a yellow jumper.

JD was was training, and was wearing.................a yellow jumper and didn't look sore to me.

I suppose him being out for "general soreness" is just another coincidence hey? Don't worry, it will all come out soon, and I'll be there, waiting for your thoughts.
ooh ok Thrawn, now that you've given me the inside word I'll look forward to it coming out that Joe Daniher was on the program.

Even though it's completely stupid to think that he was.

Let's see.

Are you dizzy yet Lance?

Coffees and smalltalk taking up a lot of the time, who the hell are you kidding? Or perhaps are you implying that ASADA got him hyped up on caffeine so he give them more information in a shorter time by talking faster? :D

Even though it's completely stupid to think that he was.
Why? It's a possibility. It's just such a horrible thought for you that you turn a blind eye to it.

Old man Daniher certainly seemed pretty pissed about what took place at Essendon.

4.5 hour interview with a guy who wasn't involved in the program......Ok.

Probably just a coincidence.
Yeah cause ASADA have really been an "in and out quickly" service, I mean he must be on drugs because you say so, because you have an interpretation of time, an interpretation of something you could not possibly know.

I mean really, how could you know the reason it took this time? Is that generally a long time? What is the average time people spend being interviewed by ASADA? Blackest day in sport, ASADA think Essendon is guilty so only interview player for 4 hours, probs with half hour lunch included? Cause every other player at the club went in ASADA as fast as possible like a drive through but not Daniher?

Oh boy that would be juicy for you wouldn't it.

Disgusting.
