DNA of an unknown male on her body makes it difficult to pin it on the mother.

I was reading up on this last night. I assumed the DNA was from semen but it was not. The DNA was found on the underwear and it was an extremely tiny sample. From what i gather, the prosecution think it may have been from a sneeze, possibly coming from a person who worked in the garment factory as the underwear was brand new apparently ..

Hard to know what to think really - On these amateur sleuth sites they suggest there is quite a bit of evidence to suggest she had been abused for a number of years before her death ..

Jon Benet Case SOLVED

televised to Australia hours after airing in the US.

They'll obviously say the son did it.

Yeah it looks that way, and that's a bullshit conclusion, IMO.

Thanks for the heads up. I was thinking about the show only tonight. FWIW I reckon they'll find there was a sexual predator living nearby that they let slip through their fingers while they went after the family members.

Not me. I'm happy to wait for the shows.

I absolutely agree with you. I still don't understand why the Ramseys refused to meet with police without some fairly ridiculous conditions attached such as:-

1) Not to be interviewed separately
2) Not to be interviewed at the police station
3) Not to be interviewed for more than one hour

This actually isn't uncommon among wealthy people in the United States.

I can understand them wanting a doctor to be present in case Patsy became unwell. They had powerful lawyers. I don't understand why they didn't just get on with the interviews with their lawyers present to look after their interests. If it had been the UK, they would simply have been arrested and possibly charged with obstructing a police inquiry!

I do think their lack of co-operation was unforgivable because the Ramseys were in a very unique position to provide the police with information about their daughter's last hours.
American law enforcement has a horrible track record of trying to and getting false convictions based on lengthy beat them down interviews.Every Lawyer worth their wieght knows this and as soon as the family contacted a law firm it was all over for the cops doing a "midnight special"interview and admittance.
Like most middle income families they probably contacted a legitimate firm and not the fly by nighter ambulance chaser that most people accept as their law firm.

Yep, a dead body has been found within you own residence, if the cops can't find a good external suspect straight away it's not hard to work out they are going think it was one of you and zero in. Anyone with any sense would be on the defensive with good legal representation.

I think they are suggesting the son did it and the parents covered it up.
That's the most popular theory of what really happened.
I can believe it. Hearing what the FBI guy is saying, and the linguistic analysis....it's really obvious WHY the police were so fixated on the family being the perpetrators.

Woah, that kid is a freak.
Clearly he did it and they covered it up.

I feel for them really.
