Both are countering each other in Kooyong.

Frydo signs (land rat sized ones, not just corflutes) are up around the electorate on mass this weekend (matching Ryan's recent work)

Ryan has her own ad now at the Balwyn cinema (matching what Frydo has had screening for weeks)

Alp and greens basically non existent (seen 1 green corflute and non for the alp)

He is dominating the paid billboards everywhere

The household signage I've seen is about 30-40% Frydo to 70-60% Ryan, BUT his placement and use of the full landrat sized boards (and not just corflutes) means they have a stronger presence.

And agree, the spending is up a notch. I'll wager he's never had to employ this kind of grassroots campaign before

Just drove past Josh's house.

Street statistics
1 Monique Ryan corflute 50m away
0 Frydenberg signs.

Surprisingly 3 Melbourne Demons adorned front yards. Either they need to get over it or are we under estimating Max Gawn as the next MP

It's not a really strong indicator, but in my experience, anti-incumbent signs outnumbering pro-incumbent signs in areas which favour the incumbent spells trouble for the incumbent.

My suburb in my electorate (Petrie) was pro-ALP, but I saw more LNP/ON signs than ALP signs. Naturally, my LNP MP retained the seat with a large swing. Also, one American told me of pro-Biden posters outnumbering pro-Trump posters in Virginia.

Still, I just can't quite grasp the idea of the LNP actually losing Kooyong. It's crazy, really.

pissed off women are going to bring this govt down

transcends the left too

ive been genuinely surprised how deep it is, and their measures to correct it only make it worse

abbott had his issues, but nothing close to this

Mark Latham had a woman problem too, and John Howard linked it to his brash pushiness putting many of them off, especially in more affluent 'doctor's wives' areas.

I've noted that ScoMo has a bit of that about him, and I have no doubt that's part of the problem. He hasn't helped himself through his handling of Higgins/Porter/the Women's March, either.

What signage indicates is not support from the passers by, but the depth of your local hardcore grassroots volunteers.

If they have signs up, they are also door knocking, phone banking, and working the stands. THAT is where you make an impact.

Too late Frydo, the women of Kooyong have seen how you're joined at the hip to Shonky's misogyny and how as treasurer you've been culpable for our massive debt.

Not necessarily. Some will, many won't. We will be displaying the "Voices" sign in our neck of the woods when the weak berk who masquerades as a PM calls his doomsday. May 14 is the word. However, that and our votes will be the extent of it. And pissing on Shonky and Frydo wherever and whenever the chance arises, of course.

you'd be surprised - her volunteer base is very big
