Josh Kennedy or Brad Sewell?

Having a discussion with a Hawks supporter, who would you prefer as your second/third midfielder? Josh Kennedy from Sydney? Or Brad Sewell from Hawthorn?

I don't have the stats but I feel that Sewell is more consistent than JK at this stage of his career. JK is fantatsic though, and will dominate the contestedpossession/clearance stats for the next little while.

Sewell is starting to slow down, and JK is only going to get better.
Sewells had the better career, but if I had to take one for next year, probably Kennedy.

Pretty hard to split at the moment but I'd probably have Sewell just ahead on consistency. Going into next season I'd go with JPK. Really hoping he steps up another notch.

JPK has a lot of strengths but leg speed isn't one of them.

He is faster than most inside midfielders.

When you have plodders like McLean and Curnow doing your inside work you learn to appreciate players like Kennedy who have an alright burst off the mark.

Sewell just because his disposal is more reliable, and over-all a better rounded player, Kennedy is very good at what he does however.
