I was looking at 1750 acres in Mullewa last night with permanent water. Might be worthwhile setting up a luxury spa for city folk to visit and immerse themselves in the lifestyle.

Lourdes eat your heart out.

I know that on well. Young bloke committed a sex assault and copped that punishment

Permanent and brutal.

Yet, apparently, blackfellas are soft.

Did you see an achilles tendon cutting?

Generally in Wongi territory...Wiluna and east to Warburton.

Mind you, the women are equally as brutal. If not more so.

A spearing is a fair bit better than a whistle dick.

But I won't go there.
Got told about this from a station manager near kalumburu

Guy was a pillock though - told us how he used a cow bell to lure young black girls into the bush. I'd say not a single **** was given but that'd be a lie so to speak but no one cared and he was proud of it

As you are well aware Mr diced,we don't need to know every thing you know.
When I first heard of the achilles caper I thought it was the most instantaneous and brutal delivery of justice and karma I'd ever heard of.

Geez Reggie, I've got a wonderful photo of Lake Moore chocka with water, but I can't get it to upload.

makes yours look like the semi-permanent frog pool that it is.

What are you talking about? A couple of floating deckchairs and drinks with umbrellas in them and you could ask $1000 a day. Couples only of course, because 3 really would be a crowd.

It was a long time ago and I was never good at acronyms. Station was Carson river just south of kalumburu

Yep, Carson and King Edward River were owned by the same prick. No names, no pack drill.

Just quietly, I'd take an achilles over a whistle dick EVERY day of the week.

:D

You could fit millions of people in Lake Moore, but none of them would get wet above their knees! Most would drown in the mud though.

**interesting side note

Old man Forrest tried to cross that lake in his expeditions back in the day and his blackfella guides tried to warn him that it was impossible apart from one place.

he refused to listen, so of course, many horses, carts and drays were lost.

To this very day, the only safe track across that lake can still/only be seen by air as a single person foot track from east to west dating back thousands of years.

Of more interest, for those who haven't nodded off yet, quite near one of those entries to that lake is an aboriginal concentric stone structure which signified where Nyoongah, Wongi and Yamatji ,( horrible generic names for mobs), used to gather for thousands of years to trade food, jewellery, wives/husbands and stuff etc.

Edit...spoke too much...alcohol

Methinks this might be because you understand depression better, because it can happen to anyone. Cultural dislocation on the other hand doesn't tend to affect white people all that much. The idea that an Anglo person would have an identity crisis from moving to a new place/country is considered quite absurd.

Simply not true.

I've got a mate who came over here from Scotland and quickly returned missing home. Got home and realised it was a mistake. Done that about 4 times now each way. Totally lost. (When I say lost I don't mean he ended up in Zambia...just that he doesn't know where home is anymore...maybe should never have left<(oh look a relevant point)

If you're even remotely serious, you could speak to the locals and then the Indigenous Land Corporation. Despite the stuff up with the Ayres Rock Resort, in my limited dealings with them they remain interested in developing tourism ventures where they can partner with communities to train local kids in the hospitality industry
