If he is to go - well then adios and good luck !!

West Coast being a proffesional out fit must make this exchange a benificial one for both parties. In evry cloud is a silver lining etc etc.

We actually need a tall FB more than we need Judd.

I would gladly swap Judd for someone like Hay and Campbell Brown.

Dont think anyone is necessarily 'turning' on him. Just saying that if thats what he wants to do then good luck to him. On the other hand, if we get Jon Hay out of this then we also benefit.

Ideally id want him to stay but if that wont happen then theres nothing we can do but get the most out of a melbourne team we can

I can't believe Sheahan would write something so speculative.

That article says absolutely nothing.

Maybe it isn't as speculative as you think...

The article says nothing at all. "Industry sources", "it is believed", "under the impression".

It's all tripe.

I don't want him to go, but if he wants to he will - money isn't always everything, look at Headland. Brisbane couldn't have done more to try & keep him.

I'd prefer to have players that are passionate about playing for the WCE, not just motivated by money.

In saying that, I think he'll stay - he knows he's at a great club and a club definitely on the way up! :)

Still no credibility to any of these stories, but the momentum is building and as they say there ain't smoke without fire.

I suspect his manager will be asking for an astronomical contract considering his demand among Victorian clubs, so we may as well rule out being able to match other offers. The only thing we can do is be successful, and offer him a deputy leadership role.

Hay + first round pick would be fair IMO, although I doubt Hawthorn would give up a 1st team regular and their 1st round pick considering their current position.

Geelong might be a chance, and I like the look of Scarlett - consistent and less injury prone than Hay.

This is all Victorian-led BOLLOCKS and we do no good by even giving it the time of day.

FWIW, we know the host family where he lives and he's more likely to stay than not, but during the season as a professional club we don't get involved in this sort of speculative ****e and Mike Sheahan can go and stick his rubbish journalism up his jacksie.

I have my own theory on all of this. Its his management doing all this, trying to get Judd a better deal with the Eagles at the end of the year. I reckon the managers are spreading these rumours! I dont believe theres anything in it!

Western Bulldogs Yes.....
But for Robert Murphy.
A half back flanker in the mould of Mckenna is the most important thing we need in our team right now.

I don't know how you'd figure that.. If anything, that would be probably about halfway down our shopping list.

Seriously though, that is the most bull**** article I've ever read (okay, well *one* of the most bull**** articles...) No identifiable sources, nothing but a ****load of speculation. What does it actually say?

I can write an article saying that 'Industry sources' have told me that James Hird is actually a 54 year old drag queen named dolly do-me, and have as much credibility as Mike. No, really, 'unnamed sources' told me so. Would I lie to you? Well, if I am, there's no way you can tell, because those sources are unnamed.

If anyone has some spare time, i suggest you take a look at how many articles of a similar nature were written suggesting Pavlich would go home last year.
