The first review I read was the IGN review and they really whacked it with a 4.8 out of 10 which put me off. But I'm seeing some ok reviews now. Would like to hear what anyone on here thinks if they've picked it up

I'm seeing good reviews and I love sim/tycoon type games, I just dont think they cross over too well to console for some reason

Most of the reviews are saying there is a lack of depth and it's repetitive.

Tropico was done very well
More like Sim City. It’s a quirky city builder where you play dictator and on top of the usual city building stuff there are some fun things like rigging elections to stay in power and stuff. It’s pretty worth while if you’re into those sorts of games.

I much prefer Isla Fisher, the best of all the Islas.
Anyone know if this has translated decently to console? I do love a good sim/management game.
Playing it One X
Controlls feel good everything is easy to access would still perfer the mouse to rotate/zoom the camera but everything else is good.
They did a great job porting the game on console imo.

Unlocked the second island last night
Would have been nice if there was a pause/fast forward button gets draining waiting for buildings to build/research etc

Sim City/Zoo Tycoon
Does get boring and repeative digging for fossils you have to repeat the process over and over to increase the Dinosaurs Genome.
