Depending upon the structuring of the trust and what the distributions were going towards, it could (should) be made tax free. That would effectively mean that the distributions were going to capital items rather than revenue items in the same way the Ron Casey Foundation was to be set up. Don't take this as Gospel but I'm pretty sure we could structure that way. I would have to look at the documents relating to the Ron Casey Foundation (that never got off the ground)
