Thought I would let you on a little thing that you guys probably never would have known about myself. Tonight, I had my first ever training session for australian rules football. I have never played the game at junior level besides a kick at school. Parents never let me, and yeah, i aint the fittest guy on the planet, and yeah, I had a great time, and despite me nagging during my junior years, if only I played.

How did I go? Well, warm up was a struggle for me, lol, but tonight it was good because we played an hour praccy match...and yeah, I have to say, I thought I did very very well, natural talent, no, football brain, maybe, confidence, yes. As a big bloke, forward line was my go, not to the coach!...I was put in defence on a taller bloke than me. I can tell you now, did my part, and held him touchless in the first half, I had taken a bump early and took the momentum and didn't take a step back, that was my first touch. As a statman, there is no way i don't count mine and my opponents stats. Anyway all in all, had a really good match playing as a BP/CHB and yeah, if only I had the time I would take up the season if possible.

Code:
		K	H/B	D	R50	I50	M	Tack	G	B	Shep
M.Robinson	3	5	8	2	0	2	0	0	0	3
Opponent	1	0	1	0	0	1	0	0	0	0

:p

By the way, hopefully this is another start to shedding those unwanted kilos (i mean kilos )

IN: M.Robinson
OUT: S.Prestigiacomo

Those numbers are pretty impressive considering you had a pen in one hand and a pad in the other to keep you're own stats! :)

Good stuff, Robinson... :thumbsu:

I played across the half back flank for most of last year. It wasn't one of my better years over my lustrous career, but I still had a decent year.

The sun was shining but slowly lowering as the day began winding down. The men marched out onto the Starling rd oval with fire in their eyes and butterflies in the stomach, for today would be their crowning moment. The Sun had paid its respect to the day and its lowering meant only only one thing......the stars must be coming out. The stars, not massive balls of flaming gas but an army of men set to play football. All was not normal around the ground located 45 mins or so fromthe 'G', there was a buzz, an electricity that filled the air.

Tonight was not like any ordinary tuesday or thursday for the men in the roos stripes, tonight was the unleashing of the brightest star of all. As the new god graced the sun dried, knee shattering ground, the wind whispered, "Collier....ewww.....Coventry....ewww.....Rose.....Buckley....Kinnear....". On an evening that will forever change the way football is played and talked about, sir Mikey Robinson lined up in a R.O.C intra club practice match and clearly dominated from the outset. When there was a contest, there was no contest, Robinson too strong. When there was a pack, there was no pack, Robinson too big. When the stage was set for a hero, Robinson ferociously fought off all t take his rightfull place amongst football royalty as a great. Last night the game changed forever, thank the footballing heavens that Michael Robinson played his first game of football.
