Firstly I'd like to admit St.Kilda were very good tonight and by far the better team but the performance we pulled out tonight was disgraceful.
You would think that 40,000 carlton fans who turned up in freezing cold weather would be treated to something better then that.

That game was crucial for our finals aspirations and with something as big as that on the line, I don't understand how we can play such inspid football.

I mean our our decision making and disposal was hardly AFL level and
the umpires were far from consistent as well which didn't help..

We have now gone WW LWLWL WW LWL, so hopefully we can continue that next week.
O and as wrong as this sounds, I have never wanted a player to be KO'D as much as that little worm Milne. I was hoping Gwilt who was on our side just went up to him and Barry Hall'd him.
 
It was like the Essendon game all over again. Fev really needs to pull his head in. Judd was dominating in the final term got us back in the game, was then rested and the saints blew us away.
 
Our fumbling and turnovers (including poor kicking for goal) were very dissappionting and were the key reason we lost the game.

I think Waite has to play as perm fwd we need more options and he does make alot of errors in the back half especially after half time when tired

Well clearly you are correct because we are still 9th or 10th but that doesn't mean we can't be a top 8 side.

Surely the other teams in the top 8 aren't invincible you negative self-flagellating fools.

He should be on a forward flank with Hartlett CHF and Austin CHB (why has he gone to FB in the Bullants when dominating at CHB for 6 weeks??? Come'on MC be aggressive!!! - derrr.. we'll isn't this year a DEVELOPMENT year. Make up you ####ing minds and the talent might still get us to the finals).

Walker on the other forward flank.

Army in for Bentick(who lays some groping tackles but can't run for shit and is exposed against talented teams). Bannister/Hadlee in for Carazzo.

Hammer to push for selection, especially into next year.

Leave Setanta in and let Edwards prove himself more in the Bullants.

FFS what's going on are we tanking again or are we for real???

Please do not mention the 't' word on here. You just give some of the ferals on the main board more ammunition against us. It is time for some Carlton supporters to have a cold shower & realise that we are not yet good enough to be in the 8. Given where we have come from, I would have thought 7 wins at this stage of the season is way ahead of the expectations of most of us for this season. We are heading in the right direction, but there is going to be more inconsistency along the way.

A word of warning for all posters, any Carlton supporter that uses the 't' word will incur the same wrath as the non-Carlton supporters that come on here & make such statements.
 
We really need a good ruckman. Bring in Asake, osake, isake or what ever his name is. He is bloddy 201cm tall and he cant be any worse then the joker we got rucking at the moment.
 
OMG face it AIskae is going home.
He is playing in the Vfl resrves for christ sake.
We need to trade for a big bodied ruckman or we have to develop kruz hammer and cloke fot he next 2 years

You won't be a top 8 side this year. Apart from the Pies have you beaten any other top 8 side? We both know games against the Pies are a raffle similar to games against the Bombers, Tigers.
The tall timber is a major concern for the Blues. Wiggins and Russell are liabilities. Need to be shipped off.

Your B & F from last year is a big worry also. Should have been traded last year. Poor player with shocking disposal. Edwards and Anderson won't take you anywhere.

Seriously your the most negative supporter on here.
We're all disapointed tonight but one loss and heads should roll and all of a sudden players are crap and can't play AFL football??

What did bentick do wrong tonight???:confused: Certainly wasn't our worst, had a good game!

And there's no point blaming the umpires..........you win some and lose some thats the way it goes.


Credit to SAINTS, more matured bodies and just made better decisions under pressure than us, HOWEVER, if they do make the finals they will do NOTHING. Against top teams they will get smashed just as we would have, not impressed at all with their game style.

In hindsight Sentanta probably should have came back in, would'e allowed us more flexibility.

Cloke also struggled against a quality ruckman, but hampson would have got smashed tonight as well, so we just have to wait until we develop physically, no quick fix for that.

Certainly no need to feel gutted the future is bright.

Yes we do, but that is why we have 2 developing ruckman on our list. I certainly wouldn't be opposed to us getting a ruckman in short term to help these boys out.

Agre with ya there bomba.

We're not a top 8 side, and we still have some dead wood which needs culling as most sides do.

Good thing is we can bring in Walker, Hampson, Bower, Armfield, Hartlett and Austin to replace them.

I think you'll start to see us also blooding more youngsters such as Austin for CHB as we start preparing for next year.

In hindsight.....russel, cloke and wiggins are just filling in the gaps at the moment until the youngsters are ready to take over the reigns.

Exactly, need to get Robert Warnock from Fremantle, that should be the #1 priority in the off season.
