Kozi tends to play better as a foward. And mobile player around the ground rather then as a ruck. This is an area that we have a pretty solid depth in so I don't think what Kozi adds will be worth what we lose to get him

Yep. I love watching the guy, and would certainly fit in if he could stay healthy, but we have much more pressing needs.

If they'd take Maxwell and an early pick I'd be inclined to go for it, however I don't think they would, and I don't think we'd trade Maxwell.

Kosi is a fantastic player, but he doesn't really fill our specific need, and we'd have to give up a great deal to snare him. I'm thinking "no" on this one.

Of course if we could get him for not much, as he's out of contract, I'd re-consider.

I would never advocate trading Kosi but I'd love to pick up Maxwell. Rate him very highly.

IMO, if we were going to trade Kosi it would only be for an A grade midfeilder.

Yeah he can ruck, but i think if we were going to chase a ruckman it should be a big bodied one. (not that it matters, MM wouldn't chase a ruckman anyway).

Getting Koschitzke would just be a case of us trying to land a big name player for the sake of it. The last thing we need is a high-priced injury prone mobile ruckman (who is not very good at tapwork)/key position player.

If Kosi had already established himself as a key defender that can do a job I'd give it a think, but his jobs done back have usually been as a loose man role or he's gone to CHB because of injuries.

Kosi is a superstar when he is up & running, true that is not all that often but surely he is due to have some luck with injuries most of them were freakish.

If he is 100% fit he would ruck & be exactly what we need a ruckman with presence not afraid of knocking a few over & he can go forward or back. What club could say they don't need that. I rate him extremely highly & if possible go for him.

Problem is the Saints need rucks as bad as we do & would be suicide for them to trade him & if they did we do not have the players they need.

I think his injuries are behind him and this year he has developed into a bona-fide superstar in the making. However I think he will cost us too much (both in trade and salary cap terms) and is not quite what we need. We need an old fashioned crash and bash ruckman. We dont need a ruckman/forward, because we already have Dawes Reid Cloke and Rusling as a future forward line, plus Fraser if we ever find a first ruck option. We just need a bloke who can win hitouts, plug the hole, and win contested marks around teh ground.

Also StKilda need mids in a trade. We also need mids and cant really afford to trade any away.
