Congrats, love to see him have a big one and against Hawks who lack tall back he could be a sneaky chance to kick 4 or 5 if given the right delivery. Would be awesome to see his form turn a corner along with the rest of the team.

He's due for a game where he explodes, and with Hawthorn's short KPDs, our sudden ability to generate inside 50s and dry weather, all the ingredients are there for him to have a good game.

He's much maligned but I love him as a player. Strong hands, reads the flight of the ball through the air like nobody since our AFL journey started bar Chad Cornes, and despite the constant criticisms for not having a body like Scott Steiner, he is strong and knows how to use his body. With our midfield improving, hopefully he can start to impose himself a bit more consistently.

I would love to see him kick 7+ and really make a stamp on the game. With Shulz out and the Hawks short on tall defenders it is a great opportunity for him to really come of age as focal target and goal kicker.

But seriously ... congratulations!

Smart footballer (one of the few we have), hard to match up on, super strong mark, agile and quick for his height, good user of the ball in close, good straight kick for goal (GC game after-the-siren shot last year and recent yips aside) and always manages to make something happen when he's near it ... problem is he doesn't get near it often enough.

I think (and am hoping that) his next 50+ games will see a lot more consistency.
I've always backed him in ... as has the club.

Love him, but is just so frustrating sometimes. Case in point, the great contested mark he took in slippery conditions on the weekend, but goes back and kicks an absolute shocker.

Had some great highlights, set shots from the boundary at crucial stages, 55m drop punts that split the middle, the weekly freakish contested mark, hanger attempts and crunching tackles (hi there Graham Johncock and Luke Hodge).

A pretty bloody good pick up for a pick 70 odd.

He is a very frustrating player to watch at times, he lets his opposition in front to get the ball most times and waits too long to lead. In saying this he has kicked some crucial goals for us this season so far. I thought he would have wanted to lift his game as Schulz is dominating most weeks but since he had his break out year in the forward line we haven't seen many consistent performances from him.
