Geelong lack leg speed and look slow.

The quickest looking player we had this year was Wojo by far.
We must therefore not delist him as he is a required player who can carry the ball

Re: Keep Wojo

surely he will get another year if he has the same fitness and form.

Definitely a good call..Along with Varcoe pushing up into the midfield... Will give us some much needed pace..

I don't think this is even on the table, is it?

He had, arguably, his best ever game just two games ago...

Last year there was all talk about him getting traded away, and no one was too fussed but I think he's been an important part of our side over the last few years, and a real quiet achiever.

This year him leaving isn't even been spoken about.

Yes his disposal by foot sometimes leaves a lot to be desired, but when he's bursting through defences he really puts the opposition under pressure, even if he does get caught holding the ball a bit.

I'd love to see him stay on, and the fact that he stayed on this year for the minimum is a testament to him. It'd be nice to see him go about again next year on a bit more coin now that we have a little bit more cash to throw around.

Line breaking half back flankers are going to become more important over the next year or so rather than less so.

However, the Cats traded Nathan Djerrkura to the Western Bulldogs on Friday and may see other players depart. Ryan Gamble, who is uncontracted along with Trent West and David Wojcinski, has asked for a new home, according to The Age. WTF wojo looking for a new home surely he will stay a cat l know tough calls need to be made.rooke's future is in the doctors hands and the cats look likely to keep milhouse.

Gamble is looking for a new home. not wojo. they're just saying West and Wojcinski are uncontracted.

The article is written badly it means that Gamble is looking for a new home but Wojack and West are uncontracted

I'm unashamedly biased, love Wojo, and was appalled this time last year when he could have gone. One more year. If, as some are saying, Milburn stays on, so should Wojo. He does what nobody else does. Maybe Varcoe will, maybe T Hunt will. But at present, 40 is unique.

Yep, I hope the fitness team keep Bomba as fresh as they can for the later part of 2011.

We need this bloke against the high pressure teams.

I'd much rather him applying his trade for us, than any other club.

Absolute gun when he's focussed, and hopefully is played conservatively for the rest of his career, in a Ricco type role.

I reckon his role will be applied to T Hunt, and will add to the crucial running plays we need to inject into next season.

I think T Hunt should be given the #2 jumper, if anyone.

Hopefully Bombas got a couple of seasons left in him. Even better would be to see him missing a few more games throughout the year, to include him in our squad for a few extra years, if he can hold up.

This is the point of the day....

Against the 18 man press or "war columns" that Collingwood uses now the only way to break it is with pace. Short kick in and play on with blocking support from teammates as the defenders zone to space not players. Pacey ballcarriers can then run through and Wojo and Taylor Hunt will be instrumental in it.

Wojo must stay....well in best 22 now....

He is one of a select few players that has the confidence to break the line with pace. His foot skills aren't perfect, but other than that he is a great player. Considering we are currently seen as a slow team a senior player with pace and confidence to use it is, in my opinion, required.

2008 GF could have been different if he was selected ahead of Stokes as many thought he should have been.

He is too fast for his own good sometimes
