Barely saw him at casey, injured all the time and doubt he would have gotten many games in the seniors no matter how injury ridden our side was.

lol Neeld is making waves down at that joint and I'm lovin it. Shame not to see what Lawrence is capable of but sounds like he has a heart the size of a split pea if he can just walk out on the club.

On no. Real shame to lose a rookie who never looked like pressing for a spot in team, who was a speculative pick and further more struggled to show it at VFL. Huge loss...NEXT!

May not be a big-name, but you never like to see a player walk out.

We also don't want to get a reputation for failing to adequately deal with our aboriginal players.

I'm not sure his heritage has everything to do with it. He wasn't getting games, and was playing Casey 2's if I'm not mistaken, time to say goodbye.

See-ya Kelvin, say hi to...umm..somebody for me.

Seriously, this happens to plenty of players at every club, every year. It only rates a mention because Melbourne are one of the official "basket-case" clubs of 2012. If a Hawthorn player left for the same reason, in the same way, it wouldn't even raise a ripple because people would just say he doesn't make the grade at the culture of excellence at Hawthorn.

We have too many superstars as is. We are not running a charity.

Disgraceful article (again)

Makes out as though we treated him like shit and he walked.

I got the impression he's quit the big leagues and wants to return home
