I think ti was more that Andrew just crapped on, seemingly all night about Cheryl. I don't think Sean rasiing specific comments was warranted but Andrew was acting like an absolute prat.

Agreed. Not everyone is a gung-ho into immediate confrontation, and that's OK, this wasn't life or death. Ultimately, they all ended up taking action in a manner they best felt appropriate. For some, like Andy and Simon, it looked like it was something they were uncomfortable with and it stewed around in their brain, but wasn't something they felt necessary to jump in the middle of against a bunch of drunk lads*.

On Anthony's irrational dislike of Cheryl, I suspect he sees Andrew as the "cool kid" and Cheryl as a competing alpha who has no interest in him.

Probably also worth noting that Sean and Simon were also drinking and despite remembering the mood and theme of the discussion, they mightn't recall specific lines that were used. Any ambiguity or missteps in their recollection could have very well been jumped on and they probably weren't comfortable in sharing the comments if they didn't recall the specific.
