Barring a last minute mishap, Carlton captain Anthony Koutoufides will play his first match this season on Sunday, after the teams were finalised on Friday.
Koutoufides has been named at centre half-forward before the Blues round six clash with Melbourne at the MCG. He has been nursing a hamstring complaint since the pre-season competition.
Justin Davies and David Clarke have been chopped from the Carlton side that defeated West Coast last weekend, while young defender Simon Wiggins has been included in the team.
The experienced Darren Hulme is still pushing for senior selection after being named as an emergency this week.
Wiggins, Glen Bowyer, Digby Morrell and Ian Prendergast have been on the Carlton interchange bench.

Saw that... disappointing that Wiggins was brought back into the team at the expense of Davies... did he even play for the bullants?

All the same, Davies deserves a shot because, as everyone saw on the weekend, the kid has talent. He was attempting marks he had no right to take and his disposal was pretty good bar two kicks. Certainly better than wiggo at the moment.

cameron bruce will run with kouta im sure

has the height, speed, skills to match it with him and hes a god tagger

Watch as Kouta goes down into the forward line and Bruce gets pummelled.

Kouta doesn't do the damage with his legs anymore, anyone can see that. He's an unmovable object capable of 7 or 8 centre clearances though... Bruce is a silly matchup. You don't have a matchup, just play head-to-head and actually beat him in the centre and you might stand a chance.

no offence but if you had seen cameron bruce play at all in the last....um 4 years then you would know that he is a great player with great potential and that he is also a very good defensive player

if kouta plays permanantly forward than rivers or bizzel will be a likely matchup but in the middle bruce would be a good option

i think thats enough said about this game except for get on down to the G

i know it will be wet but 40K is wat this game deserves atleast and im sure it will be a great game

ill be there, look for the dude in a dees guerney screaming his ass off when nieta bags another 9 like he did against the blues....last yr? or yr before
