Moving from 12th to 8th in the Training Points, Andrew Krakouer clearly has one thing on his mind - football.

The amount of effort he is putting into training show that he has an excellent work ethic and is finally developing the fitness base to spend more time in the midfield. Years of special treatment under Frawley saw him train to be an opportunist FP, but under Wallace he is putting in more "hard yards" than 3/4s of the list.

Go Krak, set the AFL on fire this year It's about time the famous "Krakouer Magic" become a regular threat to opposition teams.

Have to agree.
I wish we'd seen this type of enthusiam long before now, it's a shame a bomb has to be put under him before he'll put in the required effort.
Knowing our current luck he'll be leading the B&F and get sent to gaol.

I'm hoping that this year we will see him consistently maintain the standard of his good matches all year... otherwise I believe he will have failed what TW is expecting of him.

30 goals would make up for any poor form, but let's hope he spends more time in the midfield this year. He's a clearance machine.

I don't see Krakouer as a wasted / unfilled talent who hasn't lived up to his potential.

I put him in the Tim Fleming category. A guy of limited ability who is getting the most out of himself. He has little pace, isn't a great kick, has no stamina or strength. He is a good tackler, good at clearances that is about it.

He's a very average kick both for set shots at goal and in the field of play. Though he can snap a nice goal.
Overall though his kicking lacks penetration and accuracy.

krak is a fantastic kick. he may bot kick 50 - 60 mts, but he is a great field kick and kick to a player.

he never misses richo lace out, he is faster than cogs(when cogs was fit), tackles just as good if not better than cogs, kicks better much better than cogs, he is our only genuine footy brain along with brown, and his stamina is improving. but when u have the smarts , u dont need stamina, look at big red at carlton!!!

all u tossers give krak a break and he wont go to jail!

he is definaltely in our top 12 players and is a friggen match winner. no one in our team has the silky skills that he has, no one, esp in the wet!

wanna bag the crap out of a player, pick razor, tivs , hartigan,,,etc, they are the ones not worthy not krak!

yes he cant kick long , but he kicks excellent! when he gets the ball in the fwd half. u r guaranteed it will hit a fwd lace out!

cogs lacks penetration, cogs lacks accuracy cogs kicks many hospital passes to teammates, but no one bags his lack of skill , why cos he is a hard trainer. stiff poo, he has less than half the talent that krak has!
