Kreuzer or Cotchin

Cothin easily. Quick, Skillfull, Reads the play well has the ability to become an A grade midfielder which is what we need at Essendon. The only question mark over him is will he be able to handle getting tagged?

As iv'e said before, I just get the feeling Kruezer will turn out like Josh Fraser ie. Great around the ground but poor in the ruck.

It depends how Carlton handle Kruezer, he could go the way of Fraser, he could not.

The way Fraser has turned out isn't his own fault really. I blame the club for it. In Fraser's first year he played 21 games as a wiry ruckmen against big bodied AFL stars. In his second year he played 21 games again, and in his third year he played in 25. He was NEVER given time to develop his body in the VFL and be physically ready for AFL football.

As a result, he is a 26 year old with the body of a 30 year old. Physically he has been totally stuffed over the last few years due to being thrown into AFL as soon as he came to the club.

When he is fully fit, he is one of Collingwood's most important players easily. I saw a stat that showed that when Fraser is on the ground, Collingwood's goal scoring is FAR more effective than when he is not. He provides vital link play, and when fit, his ruck work is satisfactory.

Kruezer is obviously a huge talent, and I hope he is given the entire 2008 season to play VFL and become a physical prescence before playing AFL. I believe Collingwood have messed up a once a decade type player in Fraser because he wasn't given the time.

Having a ruckm,an in the mould of Kruezer/Fraser is a huge + to any team. I'd have kruezer before Cotchin easily.

If I was a Carlton supporter I'd much rather have Luenberger and Cotchin, than Gibbs and Kruezer.

Kruezer is simply outstanding. A 200cm extreme talent, who is excellent at the centre bounce, can play tall, small, forward, back or wing. Unbelievable skill level, and already kicks 60m with ease. With Kruezer and Hampson, the Blues have the most talented young ruck combo in the AFL by a long long way. Going to be great for all footy fans watching these talented rucks develop. :)
