Kreuzer will develop into a fine ruckman, what he was doing in his first three years was incredible given how long rucks usually take to develop. It's the extra work he does that makes him special though, very high up in the Carlton lists for one percenters and tackles and just keeps on ploughing away for four quarters every week. I reckon he's probably our third best player behind Judd and Murphy.

Stats are about even without Ryder even trying while Kreuzer is busting his guts. Kreuzer also has had 3 seasons in the ruck compared to Ryder's two.

If Ryder reaches his potential then Ryder by a mile.

Kreuzer the better ruckman, but Ryder the better all rounder. Both teams will be happy with their respective players.

I would love to see Ryder grow the determination to succeed like he did on ANZAC day '09. Hopefully Hird can bring that out in him.

Ryder has averaged more hitouts than Kruezer in both 2009 and 2010 - I don't have access to both their hit out to advantage % though.

I would say they are just about even as players.
