thats alright. lets give the kid a rest for a week

been working his but off

but good news for fish

always knew he could be back earlier

"Fisher, however, could be ready to return sooner than anticipated, perhaps in round two. The talented half-forward broke his thumb in the pre-season."

any danger of Asaike being fit?
He'll definately be fit (as he said he'd be two weeks away last Friday), but Sammy's had a bit more time on the track than Aisake, seems like the smart choice.

No Chance.

Whilst I think Jacobs has improved in his mobillity - I'm not all that much of a fan of his.
The big fella' hasn't had much of a chance to show what he can do. Trust me, the boy can block! Not such a big fan of his disposal, but so far this year I don't think i've been a fan of many of our guys!

Gee EddieB - it is only pre-season . I myself am still knocking down the cobwebs from Xmas & New Years.
Lets wait for the season proper

As MS said, it tops off a wonderful night for the Carlton Football Club, doesn't it?

It's only one game mate, and with Fisher possibly back for round 2, it's not all doom and gloom. We should still be able to account for Richmond next week.

So long as Ackland or Hampson are ready to play I think this is a good thing. Don't want him exposed to the ruck yet and we've already got plenty of talls for the forward line. Great that Fisher is healing quick as well !
