He certainly would and many of us were unhappy he was delisted at Adelaide. His only downside is his battle with Injury that has seen him miss large parts of the past few seasons. But he would be excellent for GC on the park and at no cost (if he can get past his injuries)

Yeah, nah. If you put Cheney on any player with above average speed you're going to have a bad time.

In his defense though, Cheney is exceptional overhead for a guy his size and reliable by foot. Would be a shame to lose him if the Crows don't rookie him after the draft.

Probably one of my favourite ' unfashionable ' players of the last few years , never seemed to get enough kudo's from the commentators or fans but gee he was pretty reliable I thought. It won't happen because of crapolla like age profiles and other such rubbish but I'd have him at Freo in a second

Go get him Suns , he's a full red head and shoulders above all those battlers you picked up in the trade period

Similar to his time at Hawthorn. Only really got shown up when he was forced to stand Tom Hawkins one time. Was as solid as they come.

Hope he gets another club, as he was a much loved player on and off the ground at the HFC.

As a Crows fan I can say I definitely have him in the best 22. His overhead marking and disposal efficiency are second to none at the club. Wonder if he 'somehow' finds his way to the Suns, much the same way Francou did....?
