naaa, the ones you mention arent really regular members of the senior team. The ones I am talking about are. 4 of them at least. One of them the media actually suggested was "elite", LMAO. ;)

well thats why I say its arbitrary cogg, your prob referring to pettifer....some will say he's a gun others a skyrocket...shot up then fizzled out then there's tivers then theres Hydey then theres Hally then theres Kellaway...On and On and f$%$#en On we go facts are these types are the troops that all good sides have, Our prob is we expect them to be our core best 6 or 7 where at the Crows they would be 15-20

put it this way, from the ones you mentioned, we would be the laughing stock of the comp if we got rid of Chubba and most assuredly would stamp the dudes in charge at tigerland as having NFI, in my book. ;)

Over the last couple of seasons I dont think theres much evidence to suggest we have more patience for duds than anyone else. Off the top of my head, 20 odd changes to the list...No-one has exceeded that which says to me that at punt Rd these days there is NO room for second rate Bums on their last chance. I expect they'll be 6 or so changes post season which will take us to near on 30 list changes in 3 seasons..."Over persistence of Duds" is being melodramatic and isolated to a couple of maligned players
You will have read in a later post on this thread pal that i already mentioned the change in culture in this regard that GM has instigated .... my comments are referring to a much larger time span .

Fact ... we are the worst permormed side in the comp over a very long period now . it goes without saying that list management and recruiting has a fair bet to do with this ... hence .... over persistence with duds .

I think it is being melodramatic to say that i am being melodramatic

I'll be the first to say his name will be bounced around more than any other tiger come trade week. I'm personally on the fence with pettifer he had me going with his AA form only to dissapoint in the last month, with no excuse other and an inability to raise the bar once again when the opposition give him a little more attention. If he was to be used as currency Id be more inclined to go for a Polak...22yo young enough still to realise the potential he has always been tagged with.

Wouldn't like to see us trade a 25 yo for a 30yo and I dont care what akers record is cause it means nothing if he cant get on the park regualry

I beg to differ

Without the intervetion of Miller we would still be waiting for Ottens and Fiora to become our knights in shining armour to come to our emotional rescue .

"one more good pre-season and Aaron will be right"

"Brad will be back to his 2001 form next year , just you wait and see"

PFFFFT

Ray Hall ? ...LMAO

This goes way back longer than you can probably remember .

How many games did Andy Goodwin play ?.... Rollin

Wallace wanted to keep Ottens. Ottens wanted to leave.

He said we wanted Ottens to stay, then we made him an offer we knew he'd refuse. As soon as he asked for more, there was no second offer. Perfectly orchestrated to sell off our most tradeable commodity and make it look like his decision.

Our coach is an out and out lier then.

Smoke and mirrors. Its what the trading game is all about.

Thats Bullschit and you know it .... how much do you think Troy Simmonds had to do with it ?;)

Weigh up what Simmonds cost us and then weigh up what we got for Ottens

Simple arithmatic my boy.

We ended up with a player who in my mind is a better player and two first round draft picks v`s the loss of Fiora .

Very , very sound business decision when you factor thier salaries into it as well

Still the failure to draft Franklin to replace a traded KPP in Ottens has negated any possible gains Richmond made by securing draft picks.

Neither, Tambling, Meyer or Pattison fill me with enormous confidence. I reckon I'd preferred to have kept Ottens to any of that lot.:)

With respect, I think we would have drafted Roughead ahead of tambling had we been able to. But who really knows except the recruiting staff.

Roughead was a genuine KPP. Franklin is just abother tall mobile flanker, and we have had one better than Franklin for over 10 years. You can't build a premiership around a guy like that.

I think the vast majority of Richmond supporters are quite content with the result of the Ottens / Simmonds thing, and only a few regret getting Tambling ahead of Franklin, myself not included.

It was the perfect deal.

THE perfect deal.

and since when has sattisfying the resident "genius" vander#$@ amounted to anything, I mean for crying out loud, you actually thought the Hawks were going to have a good year didn't you...:p notwithstanding recruiting guru Buckenara trawled the local trauma ward for Hawthorns draft selections and hasn't that filled the fans with confidence

Lets be the first to hear your doozies for predictions over the remaining 4 weeks, confident of any Hawk wins...

great comic relief VBF...keep it up, its not easy for Hawk fans to crack a smile at the mo

Yeah, but you're a twit so what fills you with confidence really has little bearing on anything important. :)
