Ran himself out of steam in the first half but worked his way into it in the 2nd. When he gets the game plan his attributes will be huge for us.

And people will see why he’s a much better fit at half forward to this Collingwood team than Adams was (though not criticising Tay he did very well and as best as he could in the role but he’s not elite there by league standards).

I think Shooter’s forward game is an upgrade on Adams, but Adams was still a great fit in our forward mix. He was essentially an inside mid with fast feet I50 which you don’t see often and it lead to a number of soft drop hand off goals directly created by Adams. The big bonus though is Shooter’s availability which is his best ability. I always felt Adams body was grumbly and he could go down at any moment.

I agree mate. Bringing in Mitchell and hill both being huge in the Gf and winning that flag was terrible. What a disaster.

We might still be in the cooling off period and can send him back if we are lucky

People don’t look at it in its entirety. We give away the farm for average players who want to come to us and we lose players for bugger all, irrespective of their talent. Anyone can sell something at a loss…..doesn’t make them a good salesperson. Wake up!!

If you wrote this at round 12 and we are in the bottom 4, I might jump on board, but it's a bit early bro and you don't really know how the season will pan out. There are list concerns but we're coming off a flag, that's pretty good. I still think we will it again this year. We are just easing into the season, rather than so far ahead with 6 rounds to go that the anxiety nearly cost us a flag

So your saying dane swan was not worth a first round pick at age 25 pirely because he was taken at pick 50 odd in a draft 8 years earlier?
