A lot of unforeseeable things happened today that have changed the landscape of our season. So what do we have left?

Who comes in?

Do we persist with mid-tier contributors through this period?

Rookie upgrades?

We've been desperately unlucky, I can't believe we lost Dangerfield of all players in such fashion today, but we have to move on. What should the plan of action be?

drummond, this is you mate. who's been showing in the SANFL?

Jaensch should come in surely...

The season is not over, but is not looking too flash. Yes bring in some of the kids for experience. Get rid of this predictable style of play, go for broke Craigy!. We know what we are capable of.

Season is probably shot but from here it's probably time to give the younger players a go (Davis, McKernan especially), must improve contested possessions/hard ball gets/tackling (it's been disgraceful to be honest), remain competitive and continue to push for finals.

We find someone who can teach us to tackle and provide a contest.

plain, and simple, back to basics stuff.

Pray that Patrick is alright, from a lifestyle perspective - football is irrelevant.

Everything else, who cares.

Its going to get very, very ugly all round for the rest of the year

Lets forget about the 8, its unfortunately time to say goodbye to Tyson Edwards, and get some games into McKernan Davis and Young.

Neil Craig - opposition clubs are onto our kickouts and zone strategy. Time to develop an alternate game plan

I guess from the club's point of view, from here we simply continue trying to field the best side we can, and take advantage of the "opportunity" to test out some kids and see how they handle the heat without the pressure of our club being expected to finish top 4. I doubt any of the experts still have that thought about us.

From a supporter's point of view, I guess we have to just take our lumps and stiffen the upper lip for a little while. We looked forward to this season for six months only to see it dangling by a thread in only 15 days.

Hopefully the Crows will show us some spirit and fight over the next couple of months to get us excited again. For now, all I can think is how far away season 2011 is :(

I agree that the Crows will have to show spirit and fight over the next couple of months. Supporters too, will have to show spirit , fight and loyalty so that things don't implode. It's not going to be easy because everyone wants a scapegoat but that's not going to help get wins on the board.

Re game plans...do we actually have coaches who think "hmmm, how would we counter our own game plan and would that be more effective than the plan itself?"

There is nothing surer than the fact that any game plan will be figured out, no matter whether we erect a Berlin Wall and train behind that.

Every team knows how Geelong, St Kilda etc will play...it's just that those players/game plans can withstand and defeat the obvious counter-tactics.

"we'll" do nothing because "we're" a bunch of nobodies.

The club on the other hand might do well to drop edwards and bring in a block of wood.
