He did say before the Games that he wanted the 200m record and that was what he concentrated on.

Scary.

Blake almost looked like he pulled a string, Gatlin just stuffed it.

Bolt will do it easy, no one is even close.

If they are the rules set out by the governing body, then they are rules.

Those over 180cm go into the over 180cm comp. Fairly simple isn't it?
A better analogy would be age rules. ie your birthday dictates what competition you can play in not your ability.

In February 2016, it was made known that the IOC would not introduce its own policies that would impose a maximum testosterone level for the 2016 Summer Olympics.

From wiki

I have never been so confused by the love for Bolt. The most self obsessed person in sport. Happy to call out anyone, but dont put you finger to your lips after beating him, he will tell the world of your disrespect. This guy is an total hypocrite. To bhusy showing off to all that he can win without trying.

I don't know why Serena Williams was brought up, she is nowhere near the top mens tennis players, nowhere near. Perfectly fine to be competing in the womens competition.

NikkiNoo do they have Rhythmic for men at the Olympics... just saw this and thought WOW.

No, it's only Japan and a few clubs in Canada do Men's RG. Japan has been trying to get other nations interested for years. They are amazing and so great to watch. There are different body work allowances and different apparatus between the Men's RG and RG. Men's RG are allowed to do tumbling moves, RG is not, and the apparatus in RG is Rope, Hoop, Ball, Clubs and Ribbon, whereas Men's RG do rope, stick, double ring and clubs (different shaped ones to RG and wooden)

Btw there is nothing in the rules about stopping men competing in RG against women. They just aren't good enough ;) Well, there have been a couple of guys actually compete in RG - in the Netherlands and here that I know of. At the lower levels some boys have done it as well.

I got to photograph a Men's RG team last year, just amazing - https://www.flickr.com/photos/image_perception/albums/72157655648005210 and https://www.flickr.com/photos/image_perception/albums/72157656696460021
