To be fair, we haven't beaten anyone decent.
Hopefully that changes next two weeks.

Definitely agree and think we need a big scalp or two to really give this group belief.

But our losses have been very close. Our average losing margin is 12 points and 3/4 of our losses we have been away to top 8 sides by 1, 18 and 10 points.

It's an extremely even season and we are now half way through.

It's a season where there are a clear top 2 in Brisbane/Collingwood. With that being said - the way we are playing (#1 scoring team and #4 defense) and our pretty healthy list puts us in a brilliant position heading into the 2nd half of the season.

You can only beat the teams you play and aside from the Freo game we've been pretty good every week. Pre-season I was expecting 7-7 at the bye so 8-4 is significantly better - lots to be excited about.

I need to see how the next two weeks play out. Sydney are probably worse than West Coast at the moment. We don't want to be grouped with Port as a club who go over the top beating the lower sides.

All signs are looking good though. Top 8 a big possibility if we can get one of the next two.

I see this as a bit reductive. On the surface its correct but its the same formula used to say we had a hard draw or soft draw

Sydney and Giants pre-season were concerns and Port was a 50/50 game - that we beat them is good but you cant reduce their importance

If GWS go on a tear and finish top 2 did we then beat a top 2 side?

Port beat Sydney, so not going to get too excited.

But I’m loving breaking some of these hoodoos finally. And while still only worth 4 points, you can’t deny how we are winning. Sure Sydney away, Essendon at the MCG aren’t amazing scalps, but maybe one day that translates into Collingwood at MCG or Geelong at Skilled.

Top 4 absolutely possible with our soft draw. Beating Brisbane or Hawks will be huge going into the break.

People kept giving Richmond a hard time for not having beaten anyone decent in 2017, until they beat Geelong (who they hadn't beaten for years) in the QF, and the rest is history.
