I see the following players as being capable of playing in our next premiership - approx. 3-4 years away.

Jones, Watts, McLean, Bate, Frawley, Morton, Sylvia, Petterd, Grimes, Maric, McNamara Garland, Moloney, Cheney, Rivers, Woneamirri, Martin, Davey, Warnock, Jetta, Jamar, Jurrah, Blease*, Strauss*

* havent seen but counting on the hype. Have seen Blease in U/18 and like him alot.

No future - may as well delist ASAP

Bartram, Bell, Newton, Wheatley, Whelan

Trade? (if possible) – Buckley, Miller, (otherwise delist)

Hold for depth – until we get better – P.Johnson, Dunn, Meesen, Spencer, Bennell, Valenti, Bail

Retire, - Robertson, McDonald, Wheatlley

Keep but wont be around for a flag tilt - Green, Bruce

No idea about rookies

Fair assessment, although I think you're being a little harsh on Bennell, he looks like a great young player who needs some more time to develop.

I don't think there is any hope of getting something for Buckley, but he is worth persisting with, at least in the short term anyway.

Bennell is definitely worth keeping on to for more than just depth (at this stage). Buckley is a tough call. Also will McKenzie be on the senior list next year? - he was elevated this year but I don't think that necessarily means he will be promoted next year full time. We are running out of space it seems unless we do some serious culling.

Buckley is an interesting one. Some of the things he does is really really good and then he'll do something stupid like kick it to a 3 on 1 in favour of the opposition or handball it to a teammate who's standing still with an opponent beside him.

If we needed the space, I'll clear him but he does have enough upsides to keep him.

Bennell's gonna be a very good player. Very smart defensively and sets up attacks. Important cog for the future.

Cut Pau Johnson. Keeping him for depth is like keeping a typewriter just in case those computers are just a fad.

I think Green will be around in the forward line when our premiership year comes.

I cant believe how little people rate Bennell. He is going to be a fantastic player for us. You are all gonna be embarrased in a few years when he is the next Mcleod!

I know for a fact that Dean Bailey is a huge rap for Buck's. It is a bit shortsighted to write him of on one injury ridden year. 2008 he was one of our big movers.

They are all experts here. Lucky the real brains are down at the club otherwise we'd develop no players.

Demon supporters are quick to turn on their younger players or any player. Not sure why?

Would like to see Bailey play the way he thinks he will play the team next year, rather than all these positional changes, rubbish. Surely the season is over and its doubtful now we will win 2 games , let alone beat Freo. I think supermerc. was onto something that Freo will try and come out pumped for us assuming we would beat them. Either way would rather see how he plan to go about for next season.

I think bartram has actually played ok since coming back into the side. I'd keep him as depth. Valenti I'd keep and Bennell in the side as well. And don't delist whelan, he has been a great servant of the club and should retire at the end of the year anyway. Hopefully he stays on as tackling coach.

i like the list, apart from this one, Dunn is in our top 10 players currently IMO, great use of the ball, strong marker and tackler IMO. Its such a shame because we play him out of position, poor guy lining up on a bloke 10cm taller. Knowing us we'll probs trade him then another club will make him a star.

Also bennell in premiership, i love him

I agree, was pretty harsh on this bloke but since coming back into the side mid season has layed his best footy since 2006. Doesn't look as slow, making better options and executing the ball well by hand and foot.

I rekon Bucks deserves a chance to get an injury free year, his speed is his greatest asset but he needs to work on his decision making and his skill efficiency.

I agree, was pretty harsh on this bloke but since coming back into the side mid season has layed his best footy since 2006. Doesn't look as slow, making better options and executing the ball well by hand and foot.

I rekon Bucks deserves a chance to get an injury free year, his speed is his greatest asset but he needs to work on his decision making and his skill efficiency.

Buckley, Bartram, Robertson, McDonald, Whelan & Wheatley are not contracted for next year. So who are you going to delist. With picks 1,2 18 and first pick in the PSD which of those p[layers are you going to contract given we need to delist at least 4 and hopefully 5 with pick 34 likely to provide someone with talent. in my opinion all of the above can go. Bartram kicks floaters and Buckley still can't hit a target after 4 years of drills.

I'd get get rid of Robbo and Wheatley maybe Newton if we have to hopefully we can trade him, McDonald and Whelan to retire, Zomer will be delisted so that frees up at least one space on the rookie list. so we have 4 plus 1 rookie maybe 5 if we pay newton out. Give Buckley a one year or two year contract and see how he goes etc.
