As mentioned by The Royal Sampler in a previous thread, we will have vacate about 5 spots in order to draft and possibly trade at seasons end. I know this is extremely premature but who do you guys think could be under some serious pressure to stay at the Lexus Centre. I'll throw a few names into the ring.
= Davies, Richards, Egan, Wakelin, Bucks (Please no!!!), Lonie, Rusling, Bryan, Nicholls

The 5 that should get the chop IMO are as follows:

Davies - Just doesn't quite cut it at AFL level and never will.

Bryan/Richards - One of them has to go as they are both effectively the same player. A mediocre ruckman. I'd lean towards Bryan as I think Richards has shown some small signs of improvement but wouldn't be too worried if he got the chop.

Wakelin - Will retire.

Nicholls - Haven't seen a lot of him but from what I've heard he isn't up to it.

Medhurst - Bit of a controversial one. But I would hate to see a young kid with potential like Iles or Egan delisted to keep Medhurst on the list. We know what he can do and he doesn't have any other tricks. With players like Rusling, Egan, Didak and Leon in the forward line next year and beyond, Medhurst will be superfluous to our needs.

I've watched every Collingwood game for I don't know how many years. I didn't form my judgement of Tarkyn Lockyer, or any player, from a single game.

He's played well this year. Good on him. But let's not rewrite history.
