Uh, Rankine has predominantly played as a midfielder this season.

I know. I meant convert Rankine to a full time midfielder and get rid of most of the forward role he has currently.

I think we've been a bit too quick to get Rankine out of midfield against both Fremantle/Port (as Rankine is our best ball winner), and should let him be the midfielder we build our inside unit around. The additional benefit is Rachele likely also cements his breakout into the elite tier (seeing he's threatening to do that at the moment).

Port got an interesting match next week.
Fremantle with their tails up at home.
Port will probably win though, they got a good record in Perth, can do it for Daddy Hinkley and Freo are as flakey as hell.

But it's not an easy win that's for sure!

I'm not sure they've got 23 decent players to pick from

So.... If I'm NWM

I'm not staying at the Saints,
Power which are stinking it up, so big NO
Or.... The Crows who are building
Drafted to a rebuild club and request a trade to a rebuild club which will probably take 6 years given the new Tasmania team draft concession.......

Thats a bit unfair. He was tracking nicely when he got the 5 year deal. Injuries destroyed him.

February 2020, "I opted for the longer deal because of the security and where the club's going, I'm happy with where it's all at. I'm really excited for the next 5 years." Must love rebuilds, go west young man.

I like Milera, but injuries have impacted him. I don’t see why we should give him 3 years? 1-2 years I can live with, but we shouldn’t let him stand in the way with exploring other options
1 year max.
If he delivers Nasiah, then we can add another 2 years.

Let's see how much he really wants it :)

Ramsden with another BOG for Box Hill Mutineer

26 touches, 7 marks, 17 hitouts, 3.1
Yep he's the one I'd be targeting, way better athlete than Ned Reeves, not as tall as Reeves but plenty tall enough.

And it appears they prefer Reeves when Lloyd Meek was rested so 3rd in line with 1 year left on his contract.

Need to make a decision on McAndrew whether he can be No.1 or not when ROB hangs up the boots which it would seem is impending after next year. Need to be in Ramsden's ear already because surely he must be getting disappointed not to get an AFL gig although seemingly ready.

Wouldn't hurt to have three rucks on the list, especially for some healthy competition, but I'd be playing Ramsden as the #1 whenever possible (whether it be at SANFL level, or AFL level when ROB's injured/regressing)

Flynn Penry has absolutely dominated the ruck and around the ground in his 2 CTL games back after injury also

In the bests both games
Against the Bendigo Pioneers 19 D's 11 K's 8 Hb's2 Mk's 7 Tk's 2 re 50's 5 in50's 31 HO's

Against the Swans Academy 19 D's 12 K's 7 Hb's 3 Mk's 2 re 50's 6 in50's 20 HO's

Surely an AFL team looking for a development ruck with decent skills should give him a shot.

Previously both former Ballarat Rebels Lloyd Meek and Rowan Marshall were picked up as overagers, again those 2 had above average skills for ruckmen just like Penry.

FiveAA saying Chris Scott was looking at a high end house in Adelaide, this was not a rumour but fact apparently :eyes: :eyes:

His wife is from Adelaide and is close with balme thru Geelong days

I would be shocked if anyone offered him a 3 year contract.
