I always doubted the wisdom of the Harvey appointment. He had some reputation - I reckon it was based purely on the Sheedy connection. He's never struck me as an intelligent bloke. Hardwick has a similar rep - again, a Sheedy connection. No reason to suggest he's any genius either.

despite appearances Hardwick is no dummy, whilst Harvey would find slotting sq pegs in sq holes a challenge, Hardwick is a chartered accountant. Played in two flags and is highly regarded in footy circles, will be the next cab off the rank
