Idea is there and criteria is worked within but the presentation could do with some improvement - darkening the blue, smoothing edges, etc.

I came very close to voting for yours (ended up just going for number 3). What put me off was the distortion on the lettering.
If your text was more like the one above yours, it would have been a great logo.
