"I'm over Stokes, trade to Gold Coast please."

There must be something about the name Stokes..... I'd love Hawthorn to trade Cameron Stokes or just flat out delist him, and Matthew Stokes, well he's better than ours but still not much chop! I say we get rid of all the Stokes's in the AFL! Bad luck about tonight but i still genuinely think you'll be there come Grand Final day. Don't panic just yet!

Not that he had anything to do with the win.....

BTW, Why I included Dane Swan, was because unlike Ablett he has a pair of testicles, and puts the team ahead of himself, where as Ablett, is more worried about whether he can score the highest in Dreamteam and Supercoach each week!

If that was the case, he'd have put himself in his own SC team.

As for saying Ablett played shit in last year's grand final, he had a lot more of an impact on the game than Leon "Duck Eggs" Davis had in the two he's played in.

He said Ablett had a poor GF? Is this the same game where there was a genuine debate about whether he should have won the Norm Smith?

Bloody hell, this place needs an 'ignore' button.

Who invited the scum in? Yes I mean you, kicksome.

And Swanny36 - we don't give a shit about your tattooed hero. Go and ejaculate over him elsewhere, you're not welcome here if you're going to troll.
Dude it's just an opinion!

He is a good player, but is yet to stand up when needed, except for the '07 Prelim where he didn't get tagged!......you can't argue that!

I suggest you get your grubby little hands on a copy of the Geelong-Sydney game from early last year, when Ablett single-handedly dragged us across the line with something like 15 touches and 3 goals in the last term after copping a tag all day in a game when Sydney were on the march and were within 8 points or so at 3/4 time after trailling by as much as 6 goals earlier in the day. If that isn't an example of standing up when needed, I don't know what is.

thats EARLY last year man I'm talking about this year, particuarly the last 3 weeks!

Dude it's just an opinion!

And it's as much use as Collingwood in a Grand Final.

Lonergan is no good as full back, but if we need a forward pocket he can't do much worse than the rest of them.

Seriously, do we have anyone who can crumb???

When was the grand final you were talking about played then? Oh that's right, it was LAST YEAR!!

F***wit.

Since Mumfords 2nd game this year (round5) i have been saying Blake would be dropped when Ottens came back to keep Mumford in. Many people thought i was talking shit but then as time progressed people saw it my way until Blake was dropped.

Blake i honestly see no future in whatsoever.

Lonergan i don't see being able to stay as he doesn't fit in anywhere he isn't quite good enough to keep a key role although maybe this year we would have been better using him as a tall forward instead of Mooney/Hawkins.

Tenace i actually think plays pretty well i haven't seen any major problems with him unless i have just not payed attention to them.

Tenace has the unfortunate problem of being unable to kick, which to my understanding is a useful skill as a midfielder/flanker.

Why was this a big game by the way?

We have secured second spot. It actually was meaningless, in terms of the result, from a Geelong perspective.

The big game would be the be one when we play you in the finals. I have not heard such a blatent misuse of the term big game player since John Terry claimed his goal in a friendly against the US of A proved he was a big game a month after missing the penalty in Moscow.

Nasty comment about Lonergan however he was never going to be great player. As for Tenace, why didn't the wonder Coach trade him to collingwood three yearsgo when they wanted him. Probably because wonder Coach hasn't got a clue because remember he was going to get rid of S Johnson.

Yeah, I agree. It meant absolutely nothing whether we won or lost last night, Geelong are playing finals!

Swanny36, don't upset the fragile Cats fans to much. They can dish it out, but don't like criticism in return ...

Lonners lacks anticipation in the back line. That's why he always scrags the opponent. He came back ok last night.

If you had of told bomber before the game that Fev would have 10 shots at goal I don't think he would have been too worried by it.

Stokes was ok. He was having the ball bombed to him too much.
Where is the old 'kick it forward, run on to it' type of play?

It's like the team won't give it off unless it is a guaranteed effective disposal.

Do Geelong supporters hop on the Collingwood board just to troll after they lose a game that Geelong wasn't even involved in, do they?

How can we expect to compete come finals when we are

a) clearly carrying injured players (Gaz, SJ)
b) cant get our better players on the park (Otto, Chappy)

Forget Lonergan, Tenace and co, they are always depth nothing more. We have the most unreliable set shots on goals in the league. Mooney kicked his regulation 2.2 :thumbsd:

I'm over Stokes, trade to Gold Coast please.

Trade Stokes????? - he was the best among small forwards (Byrnes, Varcoe..etc..)
Do not snooze while the game is on!!:D

He might have done what I did. Was listening on K-Rock, and turned the TV over to the cricket about halfway through the 3rd quarter. :D
