There is no point is using one of your ND picks on him.

If you're not taking him with the first pick in the PSD, it's a pretty fair indication that he doesn't want anything to do with your footy club. In which case why would you bother with him?

It does depend on who is around at pick 18. I wouldn't be totally disappointed if we used 18 on him. I'd be more disappointed that he didn't just go into the PSD and want to go to Melbourne for free. Going into the national draft would surely be a sign that he doesn't have a passion to play for Melbourne.

Agree if he wants to come to Melbourne claim him in the PSD,if he nominates for the National Draft then its quite obvious that he does'nt want play for us,i certainly would'nt use pick 18 on him!

Only with the PSD pick - if he would rather gamble in the ND then he must REALLY not want to play for Melbourne.

However - we should tell a white lie and say we will definitely take him with pick 11 or 18 so that way he see's fewer options by going into the ND.

I believe that if St.Kilda don't delist him before the next 2 list lodgements with the league then he can't even nominate for the National Draft.

I'm pretty sure Ball has to make a decision by then, or so I was told.

I don't know if we've stated any interest with Bradshaw, but I presume we are not interested. If you know whats best for you, you shouldn't be either.

No update on Ball. I presume he is still in New York and on his return we will try and convince him towards the PSD.

We are all over Luke Ball mate - I think we'll be throwing all sorts of cash and incentives towards him. I cant see him going into the draft, I think it will be either us or St Kilda.

As for Bradshaw, absolutely no interest whatsoever. Even if Ball re-signs with St Kilda, Im almost certain we wouldnt look at Bradshaw.

We are chasing Ball but AFAIK Bradshaw is not a consideration. Why would we delist Robbo to draft Bradshaw? Especially for a 3 year contract.
