Just look at it this way - statistically 2008 HAS to be better and less weird than 2007. Actually statistically 2007 has to GET better and less weird...but I'm not holding my breath, I mean none of the players have been mauled by a rampaging herd of aplacas. Yet.
Not that I'm against weirdness per se, I'd just prefer it not to happen to Richmond players and not to freaking injure them!

yeah i just had to laugh at it - our injury list would have been
mcguane - shoulder (struck by falling goal post )
Coughlan - knee (slipped in shower )
Richardson - face ( kicked by teammate )
Brown - Leg ( Magical Mystery Hot Spot )
Ray Hall - Hip (Hoola hooping accident )
its been a weird year for injuries (shame we didnt have otto here still to fall on a wooden stake in his crutch again ) - whats the deal with simmo also, is there any clarification to the extent of his injury?

McGuane played out the rest of the last quater when the post was put back up so I doubt there's anything substantially wrong. He's a chance to be included this week (IMO he has to be to cover essendon's tall forward line). Though it has been a seriously weird and depressing year.
