Can anybody please tell me of the progress of one of your new recruits Luke McGuane who is from my club Broadbeach up here on Gold Coast.

Luke is good kid, like to see him go well even though I am not tiger fan

Thanks for any replies

From what I have seen at practice matches is that he has graet hands and moves well. He need to put on about 20 KG. I don't expect him to play much for the next couple of years but he will be good.

20kg poor bloke! Is that healthy? He is 191cm, 76kg now on tiger website.

Look at it this way... Chris Grant was skinnier when he was first drafted! He would now be around 100Kgs or so.

If Luke was to put on 20kgs and take him up to about 96, then this would be about right for the positions he will be expected to play.

Liked a few things he did last year in the U18 championships for QLD, certainly his marking, and saw him playing again a few weeks ago for Coburg.

I don't know if he's gotta put 20kg on, given he is a bit of a flashy type with good endurance. Why couldn't he play on a wing/flank?
