He sure not the Skinny Kid we Drafted and he did that much in 1 Pre-Season:eek:

Good thing those that he looks to lost no Pace with his Bulking up:thumbsu:

Him playing this year does not look as far fetched as when we drafted Rounds

Jabso's grammar tip # 39028

Here's one that many people get wrong on bigfooty.

Baulk = to stop, to refuse. In a football sense, to baulk is to avoid by stopping short and let the player go past you.
Bulk = size, mass, volume etc.

He doesn't look that much bigger, he's not that small in the first picture tbh.

1. who is he?
2. pictures are taken at different angles so it's hard to say.
3. looks the same to me.
4. The only difference I can spot is that he's had a hair cut. :thumbsu:

Was that a photo if him in todays Herald Sun?

They said it was J-Mac but it's not even close.

If so, he does have a bit of size already.

I can sense some good times around the corner for the Pies. If just a couple of these kids come on, and with our side only able to get better through natural improvement.

What a time to be a Pies supporter! :thumbsu:

Just a case of DTM creating new threads for the sake of it......... *sigh*

Is not, I thought he looked bigger and Thought it was worth making a Thread about it and Saying that it's a Good Thing

That is Rounds, but the shot of him in the COllingwood get-up doesn't do justice to the size he actually is. There are other shots from the game that give a better indication.

Make no mistake - Rounds is now very well built. His legs are very thick and muscular, and he has filled out through the frame considerably. He is a lot "thicker' through the body than when the Geelong falcons photo was taken.

Thanks of Explaining it better - Thicker might be a Better Word

Luke Rounds, I hope will be a gun player for Collingwood. He is from my area. Quick and very skillful, he'll debut this year, well, I am hoping he will. If so, I'll be watching him very closely. :)

He did strike me as a young fella with a good frame to build on. Not that he was built, but that he looked like he wouldn't struggle to put the weight on. :thumbsu:

Thought the same thing about HUN pic. Might be case of 27 linked to J-Mac last year. Could someone enlighten.

He looks like a footballer. That's the main thing.

Geez I always thought the main thing was to be able to win the footy and use it. Seriously go down to any local footy club and you will see young blokes with the same physical attributes as many of these young blokes. I know everyone is keen for the footy to come along but perhaps we should wait until we see some of these kids play a few games before putting pressure on them on the basis of a few photos.

Or perhaps people are excited that some players who already have the skills, and are on an AFL list, are adding "AFL capable physique" to their list of attributes.
Some kids end up going no where if they can't get their body up to a standard to compete with men. Building their body up is just another step on the road to becoming an AFL player.
