For those that aren't aware, the Magarey Medal is on tonight. There is no TV or radio coverage for the event (and very very scant notice of the event). If anyone wants to follow the coverage, there are live updates on the SANFL website.

You're both right - normally it's on about now, but it has been as late as Grand Final week a couple of times in the past few years (2006/2007 were in GF week).

This is a disgrace - apparantly other sources offered to cover the event for free but the SANFL said no, so us SANFL fans are relying on the ever unreliable SANFL web site.

Shameful work by the SANFL not to support at least radio coverage of the count. I was trying to follow it on twitter and the SANFL website just to watch the SANFL website crash and the Twitter be very rarely updated.

We got three updates to Round 18, then the SANFL site died in the arse. The twitter feed was just as pointless. Dunno why they bothered with the Twitter feed if they werent going to utilise it.
